The full and bold flavors are highlighted by a plush, velvety mouthfeel with a long finish.

Pair it with pasta: LAPOSTOLLE Cuvée Alexandre Carmenere Colchagua Valley 2016

Lapostolle is one of the most dynamic and influential wine producers in Chile. This wine offers expressive aromas of red and black fruit such as maqui berry and spices such as red pepper, vanilla and dill. It’s ideal for rich dishes, such as a four-cheese pasta with truffles.

For the in-between moments of joy: Attems Pinot Grigio 2019

Attems is located in a territory that brings with its name a millenary tradition of viticulture in Friuli Venezia Giulia, the vineyards in fact are located among the plains and hills of the province of Gorizia. This Pinot Grigio is characterised by a straw-yellow color. Its bouquet is marked by an impressive fruitiness, and the palate demonstrates all of the amazing qualities of the Collio region: superb weight and viscosity, mineral-edged, savoury, tangy, and lively.

For when you want to show off Strada al Sasso, Gran Selezione 2016

Strada Al Sasso is Tenuta di Arceno flagship, single-vineyard, single-block Sangiovese. Planted in 1998, this exceptional micro-cru is located in a wind-swept corner of the estate. It features high-density spacing, careful matching of rootstocks and clones to the soils, and low yields. This is the most intense, brooding, concentrated, complex wine of the whole production. The aromatics are saturated with dark fruit, dark-roasted coffee beans and violets. The palate is dense and commanding with dried plums, nutmeg, earth, wet slate, firm acids and fine tannins. While this wine drinks well in its youth, it is built to evolve and improve over the next decade or more.

For a cold night in: Apothic Inferno

California- This small-batch, limited release red blend wine has been aged for 60 days in whiskey barrels. Red and dark fruit flavors combine with layers of maple and spice, giving way to a long, clean finish.

For those who love to experiment with food and wine combinations: Rkatsiteli-Mtsvane

Offering melon and cantaloupe aromas with good acidity and a lighter softer tannin on the finish due to less time on the skins, this Rkatsiteli-Mtsvane is the wine to explore those food and wine combinations.

If you need a gift that will impress, INSTRINSIC has you covered as the ultimate holiday present. This wine is every bit as delicious as the bottle is beautiful and features a rustic, yet silky texture. Offering an acidic, balanced white wine with spicy and floral notes in the aroma, this Rkatsiteli is perfect for simple dishes, different kinds of cheese, dishes with potatoes, salads, and meat. 5 Signs Your Workwear Needs an Update

off the mrkt.jpg

Most of us look at work clothes as nothing but that. Just business attire. This is why often times we don't pay too much attention to make it look as nice as our other outfits. However, you should invest some time, money, and creativity in your work clothes, and here is how you can update it easily.

Not modern enough

In the era of fast-changing fashion trends, it is hard to keep up and be modern at all times, especially when it comes to working clothes, which we don't buy that often. However, you will look modern in your business attire by investing in a tailored suit for example. The benefits are that it will be done just by your measures, which automaticity makes it a perfect fit, and an elegant piece. Another way to do it is to invest in quality shoes, purses, and accesories, which will complete every outfit. Choose more subtle pieces like pearl or stud earrings, or pendant necklaces, because they are appropriate and also very fashionable.

Not your style

A good way to make your work clothes more interesting and update it easily is to make it fit your personal style. This means that you can use the trends you love and incorporate them into those formal outfits. Pleated skirts are very trendy, and they can be a great piece for the office, paired with a turtleneck and a statement belt. If you don't like to wear heels, subtle ankle boots will do the trick. Oversized trend is something we all love, especially because it's so comfortable, so why not get a sweater like that with some dark wash high waisted jeans, and heels, and make it look professional, yet casual enough.

You don’t wear dresses

Whenever you hear business clothes, your mind probably goes to pencil skirts, pants, and blazers, which are a great option. However, another practical and classy solution are dresses. Long-sleeved, Realization Par dress is perfect for any weather, and you can pair them with a blazer over the top, and some ballet flats, or classic pumps. To make it even more interesting you can choose different designs and patterns like floral, or polka dots. Make a high bun, subtle makeup, and let the dress speak for itself since it's perfect for those casual days at the office. If you want a safer option, a knee-length body dress with a beige coat and purse will look elegant and fashionable.

You don’t dress according to your needs

Depending on the type of job, and the dress code, you can create your essential guide for work clothes, so that you are sure you always look good. Work clothes can be formal, business casual, or casual. If you need to look classy and professional at all times, make sure you have pantsuits, pencil skirts, and shirts in your wardrobe. Quality shoes are also a must, together with a purse, you will be able to put all your necessities in. For business casual, blouses, dresses, jeans, and loose pants are an option, as well as ankle boots, flats, or oxford shoes. If your work allows casual clothing, just make sure you don't wear too revealing and tight pieces, otherwise everything works, even trainers, jumpsuits, jeans, t-shirts, and sweaters.

You are not playing with work clothes

Prints are a huge trend in the last few seasons. Plaid, stripes, houndstooth, dots, and even animal prints can be seen in skirts, blouses, shirts, and even pants, blazers, and coats. These pieces look trendy, yet very elegant, and despite what you may think can be easily combined. If you choose one such piece, make sure all the others are basic, simple, and monochrome. Stick to the same colors, and don't use more than three different ones. Tie the whole look by pairing shoes or purses that have the same print, or even use jewelry and belts. Another good advice to make it look fashionable is to mix fabrics, like silk with sweaters, denim with cotton, and wool with leather. Animal prints can be a bit tricky, but start with details like silk scarves, purses, or shoes, and when you feel a bit more comfortable, combine animal print skirts with turtlenecks, sweaters, blazers, and leather jackets.

Work clothes can often be different than what we would normally wear. This is why it is important to incorporate some of your styles in it, play with designs, prints and patterns, and experiment until you find what works best for you.

Fall Fashion Essentials for Men

priscilla-du-preez-95306.jpg

As summer is coming to an end, it’s about time you started thinking about your fall wardrobe staples and ways to combine them in order to come up with some flawless clothing combos. However, if you still aren’t sure about what the fall fashion essentials are, just be sure to stay with us and keep on reading. Here are five of them you simply have to have this season! Stridewise is where I nurture a maniacal obsession with footwear and share my findings.

Quality wool trousers

As soon as fall arrives, you should definitely turn to a bit thicker fabrics like wool and corduroy. These are the best ones for crisp weather and lower temperatures typical for this season. Cotton can also be a great choice, even though it isn’t as comfortable and warm as wool. When picking appropriate trousers, one of the most important things is their cut. Slim cut is always a good idea, just make sure that your trousers aren’t too tight. As for the color, black, navy and grey are an amazing idea, as well as all shades of brown. Burgundy and deep green will work, too!

Shawl collar cardigan

This timeless item is pretty much everything a fashion-forward man needs to own, so make sure to get a shawl collar cardigan for an upcoming season. As its name suggests, the high shawl collar is what characterizes this piece and makes it what it is – a staple for cold weather. Such cardigan will definitely help you feel warm and cozy. Apart from that, it’s trendy, stylish and just a little bit nerdy, and you know what? Girls really dig that, so don’t skip it this fall!

A rain jacket

The season we’re about to enter is well-known for its unpredictable weather, so don’t let it fool you and be prepared no matter what. Getting a rain jacket is an absolute must, so be sure to pick one that perfectly combines function with a fine design. Such piece will help you stay dry on a rainy day without looking like a tourist lost in space, which is exactly why you should look for brands that provide both protection from the rain and stylish designs. Make sure that the jacket you’re about to get is 100 percent waterproof, and you won’t make a mistake with it!

Fashionable accessories

No outfit is complete without proper accessories, and that’s the case with fall clothing combos, too. A trendy umbrella is always a good idea, especially when matched with the rest of your outfit. However, we can all agree that it maybe isn’t even necessary if you decide to get a rain jacket. Ties made from wool blends are a fantastic choice if formal attire is your everyday choice, as well as patterned pocket squares. Apart from these, you can never go wrong with a statement wrist watch. These simply scream class, so get some quality watches online ASAP!

Smart boots

If there’s something that can keep you safe from the rain, apart from a rain jacket (obviously), it’s a pair of smart boots. Quality footwear will keep you warm and protected from rain and snow later on, so be sure to get the best boots you can find. Apart from providing more coverage than an average pair of shoes, these are also highly versatile – you can wear them both in casual and in formal occasions, and even in combination with suits! Matte leather is one of the most convenient choices when it comes to fall, whereas black, gray and chocolate brown are fantastic in terms of color selection.

As you can see, each of these four pieces, alongside with appropriate accessories, is absolutely essential when it comes to this season. These will allow you to stay warm and cozy while being really fashionable at the same time, so get them as soon as possible and rock your fall outfits like a pro!
