The menu pairs beautifully with their cocktails like the OH LA LA with Blanco tequila, lime, cordial fresh raspberries and egg whites; Holy Grail with Legunas Repo tequila, Johnny Walker Black and Demerara sugar; and Cabin Fever, vodka, aperol, luxardo and lemon juice.

Douglas Elliman Hits Highest Closed Sales and Transactions Volume in a Decade
Douglas Elliman Realty, one of the largest residential brokerage companies in the New York metropolitan area and the sixth largest in the U.S., announces today that the firm had a record-breaking 2021. Nationwide sales totaled approximately $51.2 billion, the highest sales volume in ten years with a total of approximately 32,400 sales transactions, also the highest in a decade.
“We are enormously proud of our unflagging agents, managers and staff across the country who all contributed to the enormous success we achieved in 2021,” said Howard M. Lorber, Douglas Elliman Inc.’s CEO. “2021 proved to be a banner year, culminating with our greatest listing yet: DOUG trading on the New York Stock Exchange.”
Accolades for Douglas Elliman include being number one in New York City in listing volume, number one in Long Island in sold units, sales volume and agent count, and number one in Miami Dade County in sold units. Price records were also broken in Boston, Aspen, Orange County, California, the Hamptons, Greenwich and Palm Beach.
“I am so proud of our exceptional agents and teams who helped us reach this pivotal moment in our company’s 111-year history,” said Scott Durkin, CEO of Douglas Elliman. “Through their hard work and dedication, our brokerage was able to surpass our highest sales and transactions in over a decade.”
The firm also expanded their footprints in Texas, to Dallas and Austin, and in Florida, to Naples and Jacksonville. And in the northeast, the firm began operations on Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket and opened a new office in downtown Greenwich.
Douglas Elliman Development Marketing also had an outstanding 2021 and finished the year with more than 1,000 closed units totaling just over $3.2 billion. DEDM took over sales at Pritzker Prize-winning Jean Nouvel and interior designer Thierry Despont’s 53 West 53 and launched sales at Mandarin Oriental Residences Fifth Avenue. In Florida, they sold out VistaBlue, 5000 North Ocean and Bristol Palm Beach in the Greater Palm Beach area and The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Miami Beach.

How to Find Zen During Life's Most Difficult Moments
With so much going on all the time, it can be hard to find relief from stress. When the chaos of life gets to be too much, it's important to find your Zen; that inner peace that helps you refocus and calm yourself so you can take on all of life's challenges. Here are some simple ways you can find your Zen:
Take a Deep Breath
This is a great go-to strategy for many people because it allows them to relax whether they're at home, work, or somewhere public. All you need to do is stop where you are and take several deep breaths in and out. Try and relax by moving your arms and legs to release the tension in your body too.
Play Some Music
One of the best things you can do to find your inner Zen is to play music. Studies have shown people who sing are less anxious and much happier. You can create different playlists you can listen to depending on your mood and it's a great way to take time for yourself, even if it's only a few minutes. This can be the perfect way to unwind after a long day of work.
Close Your Eyes
If you find yourself needing a moment of Zen, close your eyes. This allows you to shut out outside noise and find inner peace. This can also be beneficial in difficult moments, such as arguments at home. Studies show that couples with a husband that does not work full-time and a wife who is the income-earner are 33% more likely to divorce. So if you find yourself in an argument over big issues like money, pause, take a breath, and close your eyes to refocus. This will give you a new perspective.
Hug A Loved One
Make no mistake: life events like divorce or a family death or changing jobs can be stressful. In those difficult moments, you can help yourself find your inner Zen by hugging a loved one. Say, for example, you're going through a divorce that's tough on you and your child. Studies show that in divorce cases, children will spend 277 days out of the year with the custodial parent.

1 bottle Kim Crawford Rosé, well chilled
3 cups sliced strawberries
⅓ cup sugar
Club soda
1 carton vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Makes 5 servings.
In a medium bowl mix the strawberries and sugar. Cover and let sit for 30-90 mins mixing occasionally. Divide the strawberries and any juices between 5 rocks glasses, add wine and a splash of club soda. Top with a generous scoop of ice cream. Garnish with your favorite edible flowers.

Instructions
Instructions for Raspberry Simple Syrup:
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium-high meat
Stir frequently to dissolve the sugar
Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce to a simmer
Simmer 5 minutes; smash the raspberries with a mixing spoon or whisk while simmering to break them up
Remove from heat and allow to steep until cool (approximately 1 hour)
Strain through a fine mesh sieve and keep sealed in the refrigerator for use.
Instructions for rimming the glass with Pop Rocks
Pour the pop rocks into a shallow saucer or other small plate
Pour some of the raspberry simple syrup into a bowl large enough for the top of the glass to fit into
Turn a glass upside down and touch just the top of the glass opening to the simple syrup; enough to moisten the rim only
Place the glass opening down in the plate of pop rocks and rotate from side to side to coat with pop rocksNOTE: The pop rocks can gently be pushed toward the outside of the glass to aid in coating
Place the glass, still upside down, onto a clean surface and allow to sit for the pop rocks to dry onto the glass (approximately 10 minutes) NOTE: This aids in the adherence to the glass
Instructions for Love Potion Number 9:
Add 6-8 red hots in the bottom of each glass
Add the raspberry simple syrup and fill with ginger ale NOTE: do not fill up to the pop rocks or they will begin to explode

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 cup raspberries

Mix the sugar and water in a pot large enough to comfortably hold all of the ingredients
Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then stir until all of the sugar dissolves
Add the raspberries and continue to simmer until the berries break down (5 to 7 minutes)
Remove the mixture from the heat and allow it to cool to room temperature, then strain

Combine all ingredients apart from soda water and in a cocktail shaker
Add ice and shake until well-chilled
Fine strain into a chilled highball glass
Top off with soda water
Garnish with a passion fruit wedge

Mount Gay Rum Out of Office Cocktail
Ingredients:
0.2 oz Mount Gay Rum Black Barrel
0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
0.5 oz Fresh Grapefruit
0.5 oz Cinnamon Syrup
0.5 oz Falernum
Directions:
Add all ingredients to shaker
Add ice and shake
Strain over ice in rocks glass
Garnish with grapefruit wheel

The Botanist Strawberry Bianco Martini
Ingredients:
2 oz Strawberry-Infused The Botanist Islay Dry Gin*
1 oz Bianco Vermouth
Garnish: Fresh Mint Leaf
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice
Stir to dilute and chill completely
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass
Garnish with a single fresh mint leaf
*To infuse The Botanist:
Thinly slice 1.5 cups of fresh strawberries. Combine strawberries with one 750ml bottle of The Botanist into a sealable container. Allow to infuse for 24 hours before fine straining out strawberry particles.
