Inside The American Humane's Pups4Patriots Gala

American Humane, the country’s first national humane organization, hosted a special gala celebration last week at the Brazilian Court Hotel that paid tribute to recent graduates of its lifesaving Pups4Patriots program which puts healing leashes in the hands of veterans suffering the invisible wounds of war – post traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury.

The celebration this year featured bubble seating at the Brazilian Court Hotel in Palm Beach as well as virtual seating, and highlighted live music from Alex Donner Entertainment. Guests included Lois Pope, American Humane’s First Lady of Compassion; Jean and Martin Shafiroff; Herb and Sharon Jablin; Sharon Bush and Bob Murry; and Judith Miller, among others.

“As we continue to face uncertain times, this celebration serves as a rallying point to bring us together to provide veterans in need with the healing power of our four-legged friends,” said Robin Ganzert, CEO and president of American Humane. “Service dogs are an invaluable asset to veterans with trauma, and our annual Pups4Patriots gala literally helps us save lives on both ends of the leash.”

How to Navigate the Post-Pandemic Market

Between new developments, resales, conversions, lofts, brownstones and skyscrapers, clients of all backgrounds can find a housing option that suits their needs, surpasses their lifestyle expectations and is uniquely New York. As we emerge from the pandemic, real estate agents have a newfound appreciation for financial literacy, understanding operating costs and keeping workflow in balance. Bringing the Suburbs to the City

In 2020, over 3.57 million New Yorkers left the city, many of them in search of more space and fresh suburban air. But, as the vaccine continuess its distribution, those who’ve dreamed of returning to the city life are peaking at the market once again. This time, in search of the best in both worlds.
