French Heritage Society Closes Palm Beach Season with “April in Paris” Luncheon at The Colony Hotel
French Heritage Society brought its Palm Beach season to a stylish close with its annual “April in Paris” Luncheon, held April 6 at Swifty’s Hanging Garden at The Colony Hotel. Set against the hotel’s iconic poolside backdrop, the sold-out gathering delivered exactly what Palm Beach does best: a polished afternoon of fashion, philanthropy, and just the right amount of escapism, as guests toasted the organization’s ongoing mission over a leisurely, beautifully executed lunch.
The event was led by Event Chairs Liz McDermott Barnes and Jacqui Michel, with additional flair from Luncheon Chairmen CeCe and Lee Black alongside Jean Shafiroff. Designer Jada Loveless added a playful touch to the afternoon, with one of her signature clutch purses awarded to a lucky guest. The guest list reflected a well-heeled mix of supporters and society regulars, including Ramona Singer, Daisy M. Soros, Pamela Morgan, Karen Klopp, and Jennifer Herlein, among many others who turned out in support of the cause.
Beyond the setting and social energy, the luncheon served a larger purpose, with proceeds benefiting French Heritage Society’s mission to preserve and protect French architectural and cultural treasures for future generations. As the Palm Beach chapter wraps its season, attention now turns to a full calendar of upcoming events, including Paris-based celebrations in May, a Hamptons summer soirée in July, and the highly anticipated New York Gala later this year—continuing the organization’s transatlantic presence at the intersection of culture, design, and philanthropy.
