Read MoreNow I know what you’re already probably thinking. How can I turn my nose up at all my friends and act like I’m the most cultured Wino if we’re drinking wine from a can, and what kind of vintage could I expect from wine that comes out of a can? Will it have a top notes of hazelnuts or golden apples? Well if you can put all those preconceived notions you picked up at fancy wine tastings about what wine should be, I’m sure you’ll find that canned wine is simply better in many cases then bottled wine.
The first and foremost of those is the fact that canned wine is so much more simple and easy to use than bottled wine. It is easier to transport a can, it chills faster, and it can’t shatter, because I’m sure we’ve all had that experience. Where after a few glasses and all the bottles that were open, are now empty. So someone tries to open a new bottle with a corkscrew and they end up pulling too hard smashing the bottle shattering the neck, or even just splash wine all over themselves. Either way you shouldn’t expect drunks to do complex tasks that require a modicum of self-control, and well you would have to be exceedingly drunk to mess up opening a can.
Another aspect of being freed from corks is that you simply don’t need to own a corkscrew, and if a special someone calls you over at two in the morning telling you to bring a bottle of wine. It won’t ruin the mood when you have to spend thirty minutes trying to figure out how to open a bottle of wine without a corkscrew just because you assumed they owned a corkscrew when they didn’t. Put plainly canned wine fits the modern busy lifestyle, it is the kind of wine you can drink at an outdoor concert venue. Dance with it in your hand even, and it won’t slosh out of the cup like wine normally would, because this time it’s in a can.
It is also a more affordable alternative than spending at least $15 or if you like burning money upwards of $80 dollars for 750ml of wine. We here at Off the MRKT like wine as much as the next website, but spending that much every time we want to drink some of it can tend to be a little too costly. That’s why the average $6-7 price of a 375ml can of wine is so great. You’re just paying for two and a half glasses of wine at a time instead of five at once. Most importantly during the holidays you won’t look like an alcoholic for drinking two cans of wine, but if you drink a whole bottle of wine by yourself all of a sudden your family is staging an intervention.
Finally if none of that was enough to convince you the future of wine is in cans, we will talk about taste. Skeptics might say that wine from a can will taste like aluminum, but today’s aluminum is coated inside to prevent the transfer of metallic tastes. Not to mention canning does a far superior job of preventing oxygen exchange, because a can has a perfect airtight seal unlike some bottles. The cans also do infinitely better at stopping light from getting into the drink, by way of being opaque unlike a bottle. Since light and oxygen are two of the biggest foes of preserving flavor and shelf life, it is probably a safe bet that dollar for dollar a canned wine will taste much better than a bottled wine, and yes it does come in Rosé.
Are you in the need for a vacation, but don’t want to spend the money on airfare? Well, look no further because below are three vacation spots located just a drive from New York City.

ALCHEMIQ is quickly becoming the finest of what NYC has to offer. Since its inception, this unique catering service has grown into a household name in the industry and has managed to change the landscape of it. The brand has been getting stellar reviews since its first event and has gained the trust of many reputable customers. Google, Jo Malone, Cosmopolitan and Chivas are just some of the brand’s loyal customers.
This NYC-based catering service is best known for its unique offer. Unlike most catering or mixology services, ALCHEMIQ offers it all to their customers. They specialize in mixing quality cocktails as well as serving amazing food. The founder, Igor Zukowiec has dedicated his life to exploring the world of flavor pairings. His passion led him to a career in catering and cocktail mixing which ultimately resulted in the founding of ALCHEMIQ catering - a business dedicated to serving the best quality hors d’oeuvres, finger food and cocktail catering on the market. The brand is also dedicated to helping the community by contributing to various charity events.
ALCHEMIQ catering has an artistic approach to food preparation. Its chefs believe that there is no better way of expressing creativity than through food. The result of that way of thinking is something truly special. You can be certain that there will be plenty of delicious food at every event they host.
Everything is prepared with an exceptional attention to detail. Every season you can expect a new menu consisting of dishes prepared with seasonal and fresh, locally grown ingredients. The starting point for their menu was the American cuisine which they later expanded with the best and trendiest additions from cuisines around the world. They can also create a bespoke menu for your event. The team always has a lot of new ideas and will listen to the suggestions of their customers to create the best menu to satisfy their needs.
Their amazing food menu is always topped off with high-end cocktails. The two are perfectly paired. There was a gap between the market demand and offer when it came to event mixology that ALCHEMIQ filled. You can finally have a great cocktail menu at your private party. The brand is offering craft cocktails served at the pace that will make sure no guest is empty handed. Creating an artisanal cocktail takes time, but with the right people behind the bar, ALCHEMIQ made sure to serve the best drinks in the time it takes to fill up a mug with beer.
Seasonal menus also include different cocktails for every season. When creating the cocktail menus, the team considers the food they will serve and make the selection of the best complementary drinks to serve together. But these cocktails are hardly just great companions of the food they offer. They stand independently when it comes to quality and creativity. Made of rare ingredients, freshly squeezed juices, and homemade syrups these cocktails are treats to the senses on their own.
Trendy food and high-end cocktails are what ALCHEMIQ has to offer, but what sets this catering service apart is the “wow” factor. Every dish and every cocktail is served in a unique way. The food is served on beautifully designed plates and stations, and cocktails are given a new look with dry ice and stencil-sprayed logos. The biggest value ALCHEMIQ adds to an event is its team of experienced and dedicated artists.
In conclusion
If you want to host an event that will leave a lasting impression, hire ALCHEMIQ. Their mix of creativity, professionalism, and dedication to the customer satisfaction will ensure the success of your event. Whether you are organizing a wedding, corporate event or a birthday party, the ALCHEMIQ team will have a unique idea and execute it to perfection.

We can all agree that the hardest part of traveling is the actual planning that goes into it. Whether you're hoping to avoid bad weather for the weekend or a last minute business trip, not all trips can be well-planned due to time restraints. While having other people book your trip is always an option, executive assistants may be under-informed about cities their bosses are traveling to, hotel concierges may suggest tourist spots, and other discovery apps are often sorted by popularity or proximity, which may not be to your liking.
Which brings us to Dot & Pin, a personalized recommendation engine with a messaging-powered online travel concierge, who caters for short or long-term business travel. Rather than showing you the most popular results, Dot & Pin offers a virtual human concierge who acts as an expert local resource for various needs, such as recommending and booking restaurants, transportation, on-demand meeting venues, golf tee time, outdoor activities, private jet, and many others.
All it takes is answering 5 questions to build a personalized profile that'll only show you what you may be interested and taking out unnecessary choices. While many resources can be out-of-date or misinformed, Dot & Pin utilizes selected influencers of cities that most travel for business to as their experts on hidden gems and current events.
If you're looking to stay well informed before your next trip you can check out their blog with stories such as, Best Matcha Latte in America, 6 Best Cookies In The World, and 13 Carry-on Essentials for Frequent Travelers.
