Congress Hall, located at 177 Main Street in East Hampton is one of the East End’s oldest houses. But that’s not something you might notice upon first glance.

Originally a Colonial saltbox dating back to 1680 (East Hampton was settled in 1648) and owned by the Mulfords, a founding family of the Village, the structure was built using no nails, only joined wood. It was named in the mid-19th century, as proprietor David Mulford, a bachelor, used it as a gathering place for local men to discuss politics.

Today, the $4.495 million home, represented by Enzo Morabito of Douglas Elliman, has been expanded and reimagined as a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. The transformation from old world to new—rebuilt to exacting standards and historic district specifications by East End builder William Hugo—now presents as an art-filled abode with modern touches throughout. Featuring five bedrooms and five-and-a-half marble baths, a Boffi-designed kitchen, three fireplaces, state-of-the-art technology, a lower level with media/rec room and playroom, the luxe 5,500-square-foot shingle-style compound has kept many of its original historic accents and charms. Additional amenities at the half-acre property, which overlooks the East Hampton “Town Green,” include a wrap-around Gunite pool, covered front porch, shed/studio and detached two-car garage/potential recreational space.

This three bedroom, two bath beauty is the Brooklyn gem you've been waiting for. From the moment you walk through the door, your mood will be elevated by the natural sunlight streaming in through the grand 16 foot wall of windows. This thoughtfully appointed, luxurious space is open concept; offering a seamless flow of comfort and uniquely chic living. State of the art kitchen appliances and an over-abundance of storage anchor this home. The main floor master is designed with privacy in mind. Need to work remotely from home--no problem as there is also a home office area that does the trick. If the ambiance of sleek elegance with modern custom lighting and design touches are not enough, hopefully the glorious private rooftop cabana with elevator access and soaring views of Brooklyn and Manhattan will seal the deal.

The asking price is $1.399M and Kris Sylvester at Brown Harris Stevens is the listing agent.

Properties With Amenities That Won't Leave You Inside

No longer are outdoor amenities such as parks and rooftops being used just for the warmer seasons. Because of COVID and the need for access to fresh air, developers are now turning these coveted spaces into year-round amenities that residents and the surrounding community can use to stay active, safely socially distance and feel connected with friends or neighbors. Fitness classes like yoga and kickboxing, to running clubs and jazz concerts or plant-your-own herb classes (+more) are becoming the norm at today's new residential developments. Below are some properties we plan to check out soon.

Waterline Square

Residents can also learn about gardening and planting and cultivating their own herbs. These new and unique in-person experiences are designed to foster a sense of community and engagement for residents and help them connect while at home, with some even fostering new friendships since moving into the development.

And if you're studying in the United States be it San Jose or any other city in the United States you will be getting a 30 days foreign driver's license. If you want to save money on driving in San Jose then car-sharing or pooling is one way where you have to share your drive with someone or take a taxi, it is a cheaper option as compared to taking your drive-in, San Jose. You can use Uber and Liverpool for the same. By choosing either of the options will help you save a ton of money on a drive in San Jose.

One of New York City’s Largest Murals At The Max in Hell’s Kitchen

Residents of The Max, TF Cornerstone’s luxury apartment complex in Hell’s Kitchen, are able to enjoy an expansive work from the building’s courtyard. TF Cornerstone has collaborated with karlssonwilker and a team of painters from ArtFX Murals are unveiling one of the largest murals they’ve ever worked on, and one of the largest in New York City.

DY7A1644-Edit-rev.jpg

In collaboration with the Poetry Society of NY, the commissioned work of 10 local poets, each designated to specific neighborhoods within the TFC portfolio, are included. The public domain poems also share a NYC theme. The poems focus on putting poetry in unexpected places and creating opportunities for New York poets to share their work outside of the typical literary and academic circles.

In the works since 2016, the project began by exploring the rich history of the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood, culminating in a vision of TF Cornerstone's evolving skyline within NYC's historical landscape. The mural also reflects the foundation of TF Cornerstone - a company rooted in family and community based development.
