565 Broome SoHo is a new luxury residence in New York designed by Renzo Piano in collaboration with the Parisian firm, RDAI, and Italian developers, Bizzi & Partners. Situated near the Hudson Riverfront, it offers sweeping views of the Hudson River as well as Lower Manhattan, the Midtown skyline and Brooklyn. Boasting world-class amenities (like a 92-foot tall conservatory) and forward-thinking design (aiming to become the first zero waste luxury residential building), it has generated considerable buzz in the real estate market and A&D world.

The building tapped Poltrona Frau to give this home the ultimate designer touch. Bringing its signature Italian craftsmanship and timeless style, Poltrona Frau's internal design team worked closely with stylist Rachel Doherty and RDAI as well as Denny Dimin Gallery to create a serene, contemporary retreat that manages to feel relaxed and intimate at 4,682 sq. ft.

Listed at $16.95M, this residence is a showcase of effortless elegance and refreshing character in harmony with Renzo Piano's vision.

Congress Hall, located at 177 Main Street in East Hampton is one of the East End’s oldest houses. But that’s not something you might notice upon first glance.

Originally a Colonial saltbox dating back to 1680 (East Hampton was settled in 1648) and owned by the Mulfords, a founding family of the Village, the structure was built using no nails, only joined wood. It was named in the mid-19th century, as proprietor David Mulford, a bachelor, used it as a gathering place for local men to discuss politics.

Today, the $4.495 million home, represented by Enzo Morabito of Douglas Elliman, has been expanded and reimagined as a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. The transformation from old world to new—rebuilt to exacting standards and historic district specifications by East End builder William Hugo—now presents as an art-filled abode with modern touches throughout. Featuring five bedrooms and five-and-a-half marble baths, a Boffi-designed kitchen, three fireplaces, state-of-the-art technology, a lower level with media/rec room and playroom, the luxe 5,500-square-foot shingle-style compound has kept many of its original historic accents and charms. Additional amenities at the half-acre property, which overlooks the East Hampton “Town Green,” include a wrap-around Gunite pool, covered front porch, shed/studio and detached two-car garage/potential recreational space.
