The Perfect Valentine’s Day Kratom Cookie Recipe

February 10, 2023 by Jeremy Lindy

Are you looking for kratom recipes to create “a-dough-able” Valentine’s Day cookies? We’ve got the ultimate recipe that doubles as a cute gift to melt your lover’s heart. Grab a go-to deal for an even sweeter experience.

Kratom edibles are the most delicious mode of consumption. Read on as we discuss factors to consider when making consumables and our recipe for the perfect Valentine’s Day infused cookies.

Introduction to Cooking With Kratom

There are many ways to consume kratom. Common methods include drinking it in pill form or brewing it into a tea. Some people prefer to smoke the leaves or chew the fresh foliage.

Edibles aren’t a common way to consume kratom, but they’re gaining momentum. Many think that cooking with kratom takes too much effort, but it’s surprisingly simple.

If you learn how to cook with kratom, the possibilities are endless. You could enjoy an infused dinner and have a change in routine from taking powders or pills.

Many like creating culinary delights with kratom because it helps them relish and appreciate the herb more. Instead of despising the bitter taste, cook with it and embrace the complex flavor profile.

How Do Kratom Edibles Work?

When you consume kratom in tea or powder, the effects take about 15 minutes to kick in. Since edibles need to be digested by the stomach and then converted by the liver, it may take 10–15 minutes longer.

It typically takes 25–30 minutes for something like kratom chocolate to take effect. If you make your Valentine’s Day reservation in NYC and eat a full meal, then it could take up to an hour.

Include acidic ingredients like lemon juice and grapefruit that may trigger the release of the gastric enzyme to speed up digestion.

When dosing kratom powder, consider these three factors:

  • How strong you want each cookie to be

  • The strain you’re using

  • How many cookies you want to make

Ideally, you want to aim for each edible to have the same dose that you usually take in a sitting. If you typically have a mild dose of around 5 grams, multiply that by the number of cookies you’re baking.

Let’s say you want to bake 12 cookies at 5 grams each. Multiply 5 by 12, which gives you 60. So, you’ll need about 60 grams to make this kratom recipe.

When calculating your ideal dosage, consider the type of strain and the time of day you plan on consuming the edibles. If you want to take them at night for sleep, use a red vein cultivar in higher doses to unlock the sedative qualities.

Perhaps you’re looking for a breakfast edible to kick-start your day with energy. Try a green vein strain in low to medium doses for the ultimate mood boost.

Factors to Consider Before Baking

The moment you’ve been waiting for is here. We’re about to dish our perfect Valentine’s Day cookie recipe. Before we get into the process, let’s unpack the points to consider.

Best Strains for the Occasion

It’s Valentine’s Day, and you want to spice things up. Be a smart cookie and reach for kratom and things might start to heat up.

You’re probably wondering how kratom can boost your sex drive. It may make you feel excited, which could increase your libido.

Some strains may also boost energy, which could help your stamina and endurance. It also works as a vasodilator and muscle relaxant that may prevent premature ejaculation.

Green and white vein strains are the best for sexual stamina and energy. Red cultivars may make you too sleepy. Here are some of the top-recommended options:

  • Green Thai

  • White Malay

Cookie Decoration

If you’re giving cookies as a Valentine’s gift, consider making it extra special by using themed edible decorations like chocolate hearts.

You could also place them in a box and attach a handwritten card. Putting the cookies on a tasting board along with fresh cream and melted chocolate also makes for an exciting experience.

Cookie Customization

Personalize the cookies by adding your partner’s favorite snacks or flavors. You can easily customize this recipe for different palates.

Want to know how to make kratom taste good? When adding different ingredients, consider the bitter taste. Other strong flavors like dark chocolate and coffee go well with it, but zesty, spicy, and sweet notes complement it perfectly.

The Perfect Valentine’s Day Cookie Recipe

Now that you’ve decided which strain to use and how to customize and decorate your sweet treats for Valentine’s, let’s get into the recipe.

This batch makes approximately 36 cookies, so you’ll have enough to last way past Valentine’s Day. It aims for 1 gram each, so you can enjoy 5–6 kratom cookies at a time.

You’ll need:

  • 36 grams of kratom powder

  • 1/2 cup softened butter

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup of flavorings of your choice (Skittles, chocolate chips, marshmallows)

Method:

1.. Whip the sugar, butter, and oil until creamy.

2. Crack in the eggs and mix until the texture is light and fluffy.

 3. Add in all the dry ingredients, including the kratom powder. Gently fold until well-combined.

4. You can mix in your toppings or add them on top.

5. Spoon the dough into little balls on a greased baking pan and bake at 350°F for 7–8 minutes.

6. Allow to cool and enjoy sharing the cookie love with your Valentine.
