Lady Delilah Arrives With Lauryn Hill, Michael B. Jordan and a Room Built for Headlines
In New York, the best openings do not feel introduced so much as instantly absorbed into the city’s social calendar. Lady Delilah managed exactly that. By its second night of opening-week festivities, the new Meatpacking District supper club had already settled into the sort of rarefied rhythm usually earned over years, with Michael B. Jordan, Kevin Hart, Jack Harlow, Ice Spice and Jordyn Woods among those filling the room ahead of the venue’s November 3 public debut.
The evening found its center when Lauryn Hill stepped onto the stage for a surprise performance of “Killing Me Softly,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” and “Ready or Not.” Jordan arrived in time for the set and later caught up with The h.wood Group co-founder John Terzian, while Mark Ronson eventually took over the room for an afterparty set that carried the night from polished supper club to full-scale celebration.
Around them, the guest list continued to blur the lines between fashion week front row, awards-season party and late-night downtown dinner. Kevin Hart watched Hill perform alongside Joey Bada$$ before being joined by his wife, Eniko Hart, while Jack Harlow kept a quieter profile from a VIP booth. Ice Spice made a particularly camera-ready entrance down Lady Delilah’s staircase, and Jordyn Woods, Anastasia Karanikolaou, Ashtin Earle, Landon Barker, Lila Moss and others gathered for Jake Shane’s birthday, turning one corner of the room into its own private celebration.
