In the heart of New York City, a culinary extravaganza is set to unfold. The Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival, presented by Capital One, is back for its 16th year from October 12-15, 2023. This year, the festival promises a blend of gastronomic delights, star-studded events, and a nod to the golden anniversary of Hip-Hop.
Spanning four days, the festival will feature over 80 events, bringing together more than 500 chefs from around the globe. From intimate dinners to grand tastings, every event promises a unique culinary experience. And the best part? All net proceeds will benefit God’s Love We Deliver, a non-profit that provides medically tailored meals to individuals with severe illnesses.
This year's festival is particularly special. Not only will it celebrate the rich tapestry of global cuisines, but it will also pay tribute to Hip-Hop's 50th Anniversary. The closing party, aptly named "The Cookout," will be a harmonious blend of culinary delights and iconic Hip-Hop performances. With Tamron Hall and Angela Yee as MCs and performances from legends like Rev Run and Ice-T, it's an event not to be missed.
But the festival isn't just about food and music. It's about experiences. The Latin Nights on Harbor NYC Rooftop promises an evening of Latin rhythms, while "A Night at the Races" will be a treat for equestrian lovers and food enthusiasts alike.
Brooklyn's culinary scene will also be in the spotlight at the Best of Brooklyn event hosted by Brian Lindo. And for those who love a good brunch, the Drag Brunch at the Hard Rock Hotel New York promises entertainment and delectable food in equal measure.
The festival's signature pier parties will be a highlight, with events ranging from the Taste of Italy to the Blue Moon Burger Bash. And for those looking to learn and engage, FoodieCon® presented by Instagram promises insightful discussions on food, culture, and tech.
Last year, the festival's charitable partner, God’s Love We Deliver, made a significant impact, delivering over 3.6 million meals. This year, the aim is to do even more, with the festival's mission being to EAT. DRINK. FEED NYC.
