Last week Douglas Elliman’s Jacky Teplitzky team grew a little bit bigger as Barak Dunayer, one of Halstead’s top-producing agents, has officially joined Douglas Elliman, where he and his team will partner with the award-winning Jacky Teplitzky Team. Dunayer will be joined by his wife, Yael Dunayer, and team member, John Machamer. Together, two of the leading real estate teams in Manhattan will be merging to create a forward-thinking and illustrious partnership.
“The strategic partnership of these two great teams is bound to produce nothing but tremendous success,” said Howard M. Lorber, Executive Chairman, Douglas Elliman Realty, LLC. “We are excited to welcome Barak and his talented team to The Jacky Teplitzky Team and to the Douglas Elliman family.”
Driving the momentum of this banner year into the start of 2019, the team aims to navigate a changing market and create even more value with this new partnership.
“By partnering, Barak and I are creating one powerhouse team with big ambitions for 2019. We are similar in our philosophy and values, and we are both all about giving the best service to our clients,” said Jacky Teplitzky. “We are both Israelis who come from an environment of constant change and adaptability. I have seen a huge transition in the real estate market and in the brokerage industry – more so in the last few years than in the last thirty. I believe that through this partnership, we can do more together, stay ahead of the curve and bring innovative competitive marketing techniques to our clients.”
In addition to his daily sales, marketing and customer service accomplishments, Dunayer is a frequent speaker at various high-profile venues. He served as an adjunct professor of real estate at New York University, has presented at the New York Real Estate Institute, Ivy Real Estate School, Baruch College Newman Institute, Jewish Community Center of Manhattan, National Realty Club, the Real Estate Academy and various REBNY panels.
The Jacky Teplitzky Team will now be comprised of eight agents total. Their services will continue to cater to the New York City and Miami market place, and the new members will be based out of the team’s existing office at 575 Madison Avenue.
