On Friday, July 26th, New York Academy of Art (NYAA) hosted their annual Summer Drawing Party at a private residence in Wainscott, New York with guest artist Alyssa Monks. Art world insiders and A-listers including Nicole Miller, Ali Wentworth, and Brooke Shields, picked up their pencils to try their hand at sketching.

Brooke Shields, looking effortlessly chic in a flowy silk knee-length sundress, was the first to arrive with NYAA President David Kratz. Upon entering, Shields grabbed a glass of Champagne Bollinger and only offered to pose for photos with a glass of bubbly in hand. She was also among the last to leave in an effort to perfect her drawings and ensure she had her fill of Bollinger Special Cuvée that was being served.

Between sketches, artists and guests, including Eric Fischl, Andrew & Suzi Cohen, Greg Unis, David & Jane Walentas, Stephanie Roach (Head of the FLAG Art Foundation), interior designer Steven Gabrel, James Anderson, BJ Topal, artist Eric Freeman, Jay Sures (Co-president of UTA), Barry & Jill Lafer, Elyce Arons (CEO Frances Valentine/Business Partner of Kate Spade), and Jeff & Patty Horing also mingled and enjoyed light bites including mini lobster rolls paired with the bubbly to keep their creative energy flowing.
