A Look At Rockefeller Groups Rose Hill

Rose Hill condo tower

Rose Hill condo tower

There are impressive portfolios, and then there’s the Rockefeller Group’s portfolio. Originally founded to develop and construct Rockefeller Center, they have since expanded to include other high rise towers and commercial complexes across the country, including Barclays’ headquarters at 745 Broadway and the Rockefeller Center expansions at 1221 Avenue of the Americas and 1251 Avenue of the Americas.

. And yet they have never built a high rise residential building in their near 90 year history. But that is about to change in the coming years. Over on NoMad, between Park and Madison Avenues, a new building is already on the rise, the 600 foot Rose Hill condo tower. While not much has been revealed to the public, what is available is nothing short of impressive. The overall architecural design pays tribute to the Rockefeller Group’s roots and leans heavily on the classic Art Deco designs present in Rockefeller Center.

This will be one of a few new buildings in the city over the past few years that harkens back to Art Deco, other examples being The Fitzroy in Chelsea and 111 West 57th Street in Midtown. When completed, it will boast 123 condos, the sales of which will be handled by CORE later this spring. While ammenities have yet to officially announced, paperwork from the Department of Buildings mention a gym, pool, bike parking, and a terrace on the 34th floor. Though not a whole lot is currently made available to the public, the thought of the Rockefeller Group finally entering the world of high rise residentials is enough to spur an electric amount of excitement. And this could possibly set the stage for more similar residential developments from them in the future.

6 Things To Consider When Viewing A House

Whether you're looking to rent a house or buy, viewing new properties can be difficult if you don't know where to start. There are so many different things you need to look out for and consider that often, you can leave a house viewing feeling overwhelmed and confused. To help you make the best possible decision, here are 6 things you might want to consider when viewing your next property:

- What Is Your Overall Budget? How Does It Compare?

When applying for house viewings you need to consider your overall budget. Whilst it is always good to look at houses that are both above and below your budget, you need to consider this each and every time you view a property. Not only will it allow you to put it in perspective how much you'll be getting for your money, but it will also show you whether or not you need to reevaluate the budget you have set. For a guide on setting a budget for your new home, you can visit this site here.

- What Is The Area Like?

When you visit the property it is important you're checking out the area to see if it is somewhere you feel like you could live. Talk a drive around the neighbourhood to see what kind of amenities are nearby and whether or not there are any red flags. It's also a good idea to take a good look at the street in which your potential new home is on, taking as much as you can about the neighbours and surrounding areas.

- Is There Enough Space?

Once you've taken a good look at the area surrounding the house, it's time to think about what is inside. One of the most important aspects is space. Having a tour around the property will give you a good idea as to whether you have enough space, allowing you to picture the furniture you have in a potential set-up. If it's something you're concerned about, you can always ask if you can come back to take measurements.

- Does The House Require A Lot Of Work?

If the property you're viewing has been neglected over the years, you may find that there are too many things you'd need to work on before you could consider moving in. Whether you need to look at mini diggers for sale to renovate the garden, or whether the kitchen needs to come out for a complete remodel - decide what you are willing to do before you pick a property. If you're renting, make sure you're finding out whether or not your landlord will be completing things before you move in.

- What Impression To You Get From The Estate Agent?

Having a good relationship with your Estate Agents is important, especially if you're renting. Whilst you may have been lucky so far, there are so many horror stories about Estate Agents not picking up their side of the contract, so make sure you're doing as much research as you can before you sign a contract. The same goes for buying, as you want to ensure you're with someone you can trust.

- Have You Visited The Property More Than Once?

If you have found a place you love, it's important you are visiting more than once. Not only does this help you make a final decision, but it also gives you a chance to see the area at a different time of day.

Are you looking for a new property? What do you need to consider when you're viewing a potential new home? Let us know in the comments section below.

Should You Consider Heading Abroad For Treatment?

Medical tourism has been going on for a number of years now and has seen people travelling the globe in search of the latest hair transplant procedures for men and women in Turkey or the best cosmetic surgeons in the world. Although there are a number of contributing factors to aid them in making this decision, medical tourism may not be for everyone. Here, we are going to look at whether or not you should head abroad for any treatment you may have.

Level Of Treatment

Before travelling abroad, it is important to look into the level of care that you will receive when you arrive. Whether this is doing research into the company that you are looking to use or looking into the procedure that you are considering, it is important that you do your research.

In addition to researching the company and treatment, it may also be beneficial to look at the reviews online. These reviews can be about a number of things such as the level of care that was received as well as the type of treatment that was administered such as FUT or FUE hair transplant procedures. This can then help you carefully select the perfect option for you before travelling.

Waiting Times

Medical tourism is also ideal for those that are experiencing a long waiting time. By travelling abroad for a treatment, you are likely to receive treatment in a smaller time frame than you may do at home. This is perfect for those with busy lifestyles as it ensures they can get back to work as quickly as possible following the healing process. Although it is recommended that you stay within the country for a week following the procedure the choice is completely up to you and with specialized aftercare that is provided you are in good hands throughout the process.

Overall Costs

In addition to the long waiting times, medical tourism is also appealing to those that are on a tighter budget due to costs of procedures being much lower. This is ideal as this allows patients to receive a high level of care and attention without an increase in price as a result. With many companies offering a full package to those looking to undergo a procedure abroad, it is as simple as organizing flights. The price that is paid for the procedure through a company is often cheaper as many can find you specialist accommodation nearby as part of the treatment package thus reducing the stress before the operation.

Style Of Procedure

Depending on the procedure that has been recommended to you based on elements such as hair type and overall number of grafts, medical tourism may be the only way to find the technology for this style of procedure. This is in part down to technology being widely available in certain parts of the world when compared to others. As well as this, medical tourism may be an option for you as it allows you to have access to some of the best doctors in the industry providing you with outstanding results without a large price.

Whether you decide to stay home and receive the treatment locally or you are looking to be one of the many people that are using medical tourism to their advantage the choice is completely up to you.
