The race will be shown on not only several 80” HD televisions throughout the venue, but also on a big screen projector on the front patio. Other activities include an open bar, pop a shot, and even giant jenga. The Wilson is located in the INNSIDE New York NoMad Hotel. As is tradition during each year’s Derby, the Refinery Hotel, Winnie’s Jazz Bar, and Refinery Rooftop are all hosting their annual Derby Party across the entire hotel. Across all three venues are three unique parties, complete with live music and DJs. Drink and food specials include Classic Mint & Raspberry Juleps and Kentucky delicacies like Country Ham Devilled Eggs & the classic fried chicken and biscuit sliders dish. Capping things off is a “Best Dressed” contest, in which the winner will receive tickets to next year’s Derby. Tickets are $150 and can be purchased here.

There’s partaking in a themed party and there’s watching the race on a patio screen. Then there’s having the experience of having the Churchill Downs brought to NYC. And that’s what this Lower East Side restaurant is doing for the Derby, complete with artificial turf, inflatable horses, and derby duds.
