Step Inside The Belnord, From Hulu's "Only Murders in the Building"
Since the premiere of Only Murders in the Building in August 2021, a number of people have decided to make The Belnord their home; 20 apartments have sold for a total sales volume of $160 million. (The building has had three deals over $10M in the last month!) The condominiums are nearly 75% sold, but Residence 209, listed for $6.25M and represented exclusively by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, was just listed for anyone who wants to live in the prewar masterpiece.

You may recognize The Belnord, one of the grandest turn-of-the-century residential buildings in Manhattan, as the setting for “Only Murders in the Building,” the popular Hulu show starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, who work together as true crime detectives to solve a murder mystery in the iconic prewar “Arconia” building on the Upper West Side.
The Belnord is a full-block masterpiece originally constructed in 1908 and designed by famed architecture firm Hiss & Weekes, and is now welcoming residents to the renovated condominium residences, with interiors by the preferred architect for billionaires, Robert A.M. Stern. Entering through The Belnord’s arched, gated entrance on 86th Street into one of the city’s largest private courtyards (22,000 square feet!) is like being transported back to Gilded Age New York City.
