Last night’s was an intimate affair at the Ruinart Champagne and New Museum dinner, in which landscape designer Lily Kwong received the Ruinart Artistic Innovation Award. They are all members of NEW INC — the New Museum’s cultural incubator, which is supported by Ruinart as part of its longstanding dedication to the Arts since its founding in 1729 as the first established Champagne House.

Lily was chosen to receive the Ruinart Artistic Innovation Award for her dedication to sustainability and her game-changing approach to using living flora and fauna as an artistic medium. In tandem with the award, she will receive a grant by Ruinart to aid in her ongoing artistic endeavors.

Notable attendess include designer Joseph Altuzarra, actor Nick Kroll, DJ Mia Moretti, artist/designer Marina Testino, photographer Jill Greenberg, stylist Rushka Bergman, photographer Luke Shadbolt and designer Max Poglia, among others. Throughout the evening they enjoyed Ruinart’s beloved champagnes, which includes the first-ever Rosé champagne.
