How to Navigate the Post-Pandemic Market

Being a real estate agent in New York City is hard work but arguably one of the most exciting careers the city has to offer. Unlike desk jobs, real estate agents can experience something new every day, traverse the greatest city in the world and build networks that will benefit them for a lifetime. Between new developments, resales, conversions, lofts, brownstones and skyscrapers, clients of all backgrounds can find a housing option that suits their needs, surpasses their lifestyle expectations and is uniquely New York. As we emerge from the pandemic, real estate agents have a newfound appreciation for financial literacy, understanding operating costs and keeping workflow in balance. Bringing the Suburbs to the City

ARIES

Ingredients:

• 2 Parts Hudson Bright Lights, Big Bourbon Whiskey

• 1 Bar Spoon Demerara Simple Syrup

• 1-2 Dashes Aromatic Bitters

 Method: Add all ingredients to mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled, then strain into an old fashioned/rocks glass over a large chunk of ice. Cut a generous slice of orange zest, express orange oils over drink, garnish with zest & serve.

TAURUS

• 1 1/2 Parts Milagro SBR Silver

• 1/2 Part agave nectar

• 1/2 Part lemon juice

• Prosecco to top

GEMINI

• 1 1/2 parts Reyka Vodka

• 1/2 part Dolin Blanc

• 3 Cucumber slices

• 3/4 part Lemon juice

• 1/2 part Simple syrup

 Method: Muddle cucumber slices in the bottom of a shaker. Then add remaining ingredients and ice. Shake and fine-strain into highball glass with ice. Add 1 part sparkling wine (rosé is nice). Garnish with a cucumber slice wrapped in the glass.

CANCER

• ½ part Aperol

• ½ part honey syrup

LEO

• 1 part Lemon Juice

• 2 parts Monkey Shoulder

• ¾ part simple

• ¾ parts fresh lime juice

• 1-2 strawberries (sliced)

 Method: Muddle strawberries in a shaker, add ice, Monkey, lime, and simple. Shake. Double strain into coupe.

LIBRA

Diplomatic peacemakers, such as Libras, will enjoy Milagro’s Yuzu Grita shooters. The perfect balance of spicy and sweet. [Created by Milagro]

Ingredients:

• 4 pts Milagro Añejo tequila

• 6 pts fresh lemon juice

• 4 pts yuzu juice

• 6 pts mango juice

• 6 pts elderflower syrup

• 2 habanero peppers

 Method: Chop habanero peppers into small pieces. Blend with remaining ingredients and allow pepper infusion to steep for 2–3 hours. Strain and pour into four separate shooter glasses. In four shooter glasses, pour Milagro Añejo neat. Enjoy sip for sip.

SCORPIO

• 3/4 part prickly pear juice

• 1 part fresh lime juice

• 3/4 part agave nectar

 Method: Combine all ingredients except club soda and shake well. Top with club soda and garnish with lime wheel and/or cinnamon stick.

SAGITTARIUS

• 3 parts Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum

• 1 part simple syrup

• 4 lime wedges

• 5-8 mint leaves

• Small slice of fresh ginger

• Dash of aromatic bitters

 Method: Muddle ginger, lime wedges, mint and simple syrup in a highball glass. Fill with crushed ice and add remaining ingredients. Churn and top with more ice. Garnish with a lime wheel and mint sprig.

CAPRICORN

Brennan Zahler Returns Corcoran as a new Managing Director

Fistful of Bourbon has announcedThe Search for the $100,000 Fist, a nationwide casting call to find its first-ever ‘Spokesfist,’ which will see one person’s hand earn a $100,000 contract to appear in future Fistful ad campaigns. Fistful of Bourbon will be accepting applications for the job via spokesfist.com and job listing sites like Indeed from now until 4/13.

 Fistful of Bourbon—the whiskey made of five straight bourbons (literally a fistful) that celebrates classic Hollywood cinema like Western films—is helping make that dream a reality for one coveted fist. One person’s fist, and only their fist, will star in Fistful of Bourbon’s future campaigns in print, video, across social media and more. The Spokesfist will also receive a custom designed bottle featuring their fist, earn A-list celeb benefits and score a $100,000 for the leading role. From now until 4/13, any fist can apply via spokesfist.com or by responding to the official job posting on sites like Indeed.
