Floral Rosé Brut There’s never a wrong time to enjoy rosé, but it’s an undeniably different experience in the warm weather. The Floral Rosé bottle alone encompasses springtime. This unique bottle by the visionary Italian designer Fabrizio Sclavi depicts the reconnection with a natural, uncontaminated world, animated by flowers and the wild. A blend of two native Italian grape varieties, Glera, the white variety used in the production of Prosecco, and Nerello Mascalese, a red variety typical of the warm Sicily. The result of this unusual combination is a delicate yet intensely perfumed rosé, fresh and elegant, which will charm you with its notes of blackberries and cherries and its fine perlage.

The Pinot Project Rose 2021 grapes for our Rosé come from the village of Vias, in the South of France, where twenty-plus-year-old vines are planted to rocky, volcanic soils. Upon harvest, the grapes are gently pressed, and the juice remains on the skins just long enough to give the wine a pale pink hue. The Rosé is vinified in stainless steel to preserve its mineral core and juicy freshness.

Photo via @skurnikwines

Conquilla Brut Rose D.O. Cava NV is pleasing and delicate. This wine shows up with a lively mousse and brightness on the palate. Its aromas and flavors of red fruit, mineral notes, and dried spices should pair well with a plate of raw oysters.

2022 Rose of Grenache Every year their Rosé flies off the shelves, but the 2022 vintage is particularly special, and each of them at Clif Family Winery has their own reason for loving it. Some of us admire the color, which they affectionately refer to as “ballet-slipper pink.” Others love the vibrant nature of the wine – bright, zippy notes of Anjou pear and watermelon seem to jump out of the glass onto the palate. For their winemaker, Laura Barrett, this wine’s versatility is hands-down its finest quality. She enjoys it alongside just about anything, from a plate of Smoked Salmon Bruschetta fresh off the Clif Family Bruschetteria Food Truck, to a fresh farm salad, or all on its own after a long day in the vineyards.

Photo via @etfillewines

Et Fille is one of the only B-Corp Certified wineries in the state, and owner and winemaker Jessica Mozeico’s rosé of pinot noir is an exemplar of the varietal and region. The 2021 rosé of pinot noir transports drinkers to the countryside of Provence with its pale pink hue and bouquet of white flowers, orange blossoms, and strawberry. The bone dry wine still evokes a fruity, Jolly Rancher like watermelon quality on the nose.

Photo via @freshvinewine

Fresh Vine Wine's 2021 Rosé This light and dry Rosé wine is a delightful blend of Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir grapes, grown exclusively for Fresh Vine Wine, whole cluster pressed then fermented and aged in stainless steel.

Photo via @dutchercrossing

Grace Reserve Brut Rose Its soft dusty rose color is just a glimpse into the beauty that this wine holds. Elegant aromas of raspberries, strawberries, and cranberries swirl together with notes of freshly baked bread and lemon peel. Drawn in with great enthusiasm, the flavors of tart cherries and underripe strawberries give way to tart green apples and lemons.  The upward shower of bubbles effervescing in the glass turns into a lively and refined feel in your mouth and the finish is long and clean with mineral hints coated in lemon and tart raspberries.

Photo via @maddalenawines

Maddalena Rosé is a bright, luscious wine with ripe red plum and raspberry flavors. The nose reveals aromas of yellow peach and fresh berries. This wine is well-balanced with body, crisp acidity, and a lengthy finish.

Perfect for sipping on its own and enjoying holiday gatherings! Pair it with seafood, roasted turkey, and patio parties.

Scharffenberger Brut Excellence Rosé Sometimes the occasion needs a little bubbly and Scharffenberger has a sparkling rosé that will add sparkle to your celebration. Brilliant rose gold bubbles, delicate berry fruit aromas, and a seamless texture reveal the precision craftsmanship behind this classic expression. Bold yet elegant, like a linebacker that does ballet.

Domaines Ott Château de Selle  A subtle balance between structure and finesse, this wine is a perfect illustration of the precision required to make a rosé, the rigorous process that celebrates the flesh of the fruit and the very heart of the grape. The wine is a reflection of the complexity of its limestone hillsides and arid soil; austerity bathed in dazzling sunshine. The Château de Selle Rosé combines various grape varieties from the Côtes de Provence appellation, including a majority of Grenache creating the delicate colour and vinous character. Cinsault adds softness, Syrah and Mourvèdre bring fruit.

Photo via @thepale

The Pale Created by Sacha Lichine, maker of the iconic rosé brand Whispering Angel, this latest rosé brand has a young & fresh feel making it the perfect Springtime wine. The Pale is set to become a new staple of the rosé world. This fabulous, innovative bottle is a nod to the roaring 2020’s and aligns with the mid-20th Century cocktail party scenes. Crafted with grapes from the Vin de Pays Du Var region of Provence, The Pale is a quality, quintessential rosé that makes all others pale in comparison: dry and refreshing in a signature Provençal grey-pink with light fruits and a clean finish.

Belle Glos Oeil De Perdrix Blanc De Noir, 2022 Rather than being a byproduct of red wine, the grapes for this Rosé were grown specifically with the intention of making a Rosé Wine. The wine's delicate charm and intriguing complexity harmonize beautifully with bright, berry flavors and a crisp, refreshing structure. Belle Glos dedicates this Rosé to those who have battled breast cancer and donate a portion of sales toward ongoing research in the cure for cancer.

Photo via @quiltandco

Elouan 2021 Rosé brings together fruit from three distinct terrains along Oregon’s premiere Western vineyards. The diversity of these cool climate areas combined with an elongated growing season creates a wine with intensity of fruit flavor, structure, and fresh vibrant acidity. This is a bespoke rosé where grapes were grown and harvested with the specific intention of making rosé, and not a saignée rosé, which can be a by-product of making red wine.  This wine should be enjoyed very well chilled.  It is finished with a screwcap to preserve the crisp, clean aromas and tastes and is a great choice for outdoor occasions: picnics, lunch on the patio, or enjoyed on its own as an aperitif.

Angels & Cowboys Brut Rosé is an all-California sparkler made with the traditional method of secondary fermentation. Using traditional Champagne grapes – 73% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay, 2% Pinot Meunier, the fruit is sourced mostly from Mendocino and Sonoma counties. 12-months en tirage (aging on the lees), gives this berry-scented sparkler a creamy mouthfeel to balance the crisp acidity.

Angels & Cowboys Sonoma Country Rosé 2022 This rosé manages to combine the ripe fruit of Sonoma, with the crispness and pale color you expect from Provence. Made in a traditional style called "œil de perdrix" meaning partridge's eye in French, more commonly called Vin Gris - or grey wine - it is made with very little skin contact for a more delicate style.

2023 marks their third year of their ‘Pulling Corks and Filling Forks’ program, donating a portion of proceeds from every bottle of wine sold to World Central Kitchen (WCK), helping fund meals for those affected by natural and manmade disasters.

The wines are available direct from the winery, at wine.com and are nationally distributed at select retailers, including Whole Foods.

Designed by Mico Design & Co. with Gino Falcone, their aim was to represent the rich culture of India through the ambiance of the space creating an environment that transports guests into Indian culture, enhancing the experience of dining with friends and family. They focused on highlighting the most emblematic elements of the culture, such as vibrant colors and textures. The lamps were inspired by the attire of Indian women, the VIP area recreates the classic image of the Holi celebration, using tulle to represent the colorful powder. A modern take on traditional facades of Indian architecture boasts mirrors and arches carefully integrated into the design. Rishtedar currently spans over 2,600 square feet including the patio, main dining room and VIP area upstairs comfortably accommodating 88 seats, with plans to open a full bar totaling to 4,360 square feet with 168 seats.

At the helm of Rishtedar’s authentic Indian cuisine experience is Vikram Thadani, who was born Chilean to Indian parents. What started as an import business soon developed into a mission to bring authentic Indian cuisine to Chile, where most of the population is unfamiliar with true Indian flavor. “Creating an experience that captures my heritage and can serve as an introduction to Indian culture was our aim behind Rishtedar. Rishtedar means “family,” and as soon as our diners step foot in here we like to expose them to as many traditions giving a piece of our culture paired with scrumptious tastings of bona fide Indian cuisine.”

Chef Shaun Hergatt, the executive chef and owner behind some of New York’s most famed Michelin-starred restaurants both public and private, including Vestry in Soho and 432 Park Avenue respectively, is renowned for his technically precise cooking and painterly presentations. Nota at The Perigon will be Hergatt’s first-ever Mediterranean concept, while FiftyThree, a speakeasy cocktail lounge, will have a bold, playful style.

“We are designing more than a condominium at The Perigon, it is a private, highly serviced five- star resort exclusively for the owners,” said Camilo Miguel, Jr., CEO of Mast Capital. “The Perigon is offering Miami Beach’s first-ever resident-only Michelin-starred chef dining concept, where residents can enjoy their privacy or mix and mingle with their neighbors. Additionally, our partnership with such a notable chef as Shaun Hergatt further solidifies the commitment to the quality of luxury, The Perigon will offer to its residents.”

Taking advantage of the oceanfront location and abundance of rich, local ingredients, Nota at The Perigon is centered around a clean, crisp palate. With seafood anchoring the Mediterranean- inspired menu, Chef Hergatt plans to use woodfire grilling techniques to create dishes that are elevated yet approachable, with health and wellness at the forefront.

“Food brings people together and through this partnership with Mast Capital, I’m thrilled and honored to further elevate the experience for the residents at The Perigon,” said Chef Shaun Hergatt. “Paying homage to the regional flavors and ingredients, our rotating seasonal menus will offer an elevated yet approachable cuisine, exclusive to residents and their guests.”

The interiors of Nota were designed by Tara Bernerd to blend into the larger residential concept at The Perigon. The design will incorporate rich materials from intricate stones to linens. The furniture will integrate a unique combination of organic materials with subtle hues that cohesively blend to the environment of coastal living on the sands of Miami Beach. The oceanfront restaurant will accommodate up to 70 guests, with service extending to the pool deck.

The speakeasy, FiftyThree, will experiment with bold colors and patterns, embracing a whiskey- themed palate. Darker browns and greens will set a more intimate mood, featuring bronze fixtures and accents creating the perfect nighttime setting. The cocktails will also embody the more playful aesthetic, while focusing on fresh ingredients and creative curations.

The Perigon’s food and beverage concept represents Chef Hergatt’s triumphant return to South Florida. Chef Hergatt first debuted in Miami in 2005 when he was the executive chef at The Setai Miami Beach. Hailing from Australia but having worked at restaurants around the world garnering international accolades for culinary craftsmanship, Chef Hergatt is known for two of his Michelin- star restaurants, Juni and Vestry, and previously SHO Shaun Hergatt, which garnered acclaim for its geographically inspired dishes. Today, one of Chef Hergatt’s many restaurants is the Caviar Bar in Las Vegas. Many of his most famed dishes are inspired by his travels and surroundings, an approach he will bring to The Perigon.

Completing the culinary experience at The Perigon will be several additional private amenity spaces for dining and lounging. An indoor-outdoor conservatory doubling as a breakfast lounge and terrace will host residents for their early morning coffee. Here, a barista will be available upon request to serve hot or iced coffee to a resident’s liking. Residents can also request meals be delivered directly to their private residence or to their poolside cabana.

Further elevating the experience at The Perigon is a new private concierge partnership with BHB Private Concierge, a premium provider servicing private properties and clients. In addition to offering residents seamless experiences tailored to their individual wants and needs, the concierge at The Perigon will further enhance the programming throughout the amenity suites.

To begin living The Perigon lifestyle before stepping foot inside, residents will have access to select services provided by BHB Private Concierge shortly after contract signing.

Located at 5333 Collins Avenue along the tranquil 200-foot stretch of sand between Indian Creek and the Atlantic Ocean, The Perigon comprises 73 two- to four-bedroom condominiums ranging from 2,100 to 6,700 square feet, with eight private guest suites offered to residents only. With an overall 20,000 square feet of amenities that provide both exclusivity and an idyllic setting for connection and socializing, the building is elevating a palatial lifestyle evocative of a five-star hotel. Pricing starts at $4.15 million with completion slated for 2025.

Nightlife in NYC: 5 Cocktails to Try When in the Big Apple

New York City is the place to be if you're looking for the ideal beverage. You'll discover a variety of bars and eateries that offer creative takes on classic drinks; some have even created their special libations. Here are five must-try cocktails in the Big Apple that you won't want to miss:

1. The Prometheus, Smith and Mills

The hallmark of the Smith and Mills experience is the signature Prometheus cocktail, designed by Head Bartender Mario Castro. This inventive tipple pays homage to the Negroni, Old Pal, and Boulevardier drinks, combining rye whiskey, spiced pear brandy, Italian vermouth blend, Campari, and a spiced orange foam. It's sure to be the talk of the town when the bar opens in the spring of 2023.

2. Pineau Colada, Le Rock

The Pineau Colada is a French aperitif cocktail that replaces the classic rum with Pineau des Charentes, a sweet aperitif wine from the Cognac region. It also has Vieille Prune, a plum brandy aged in Limousin oak, giving the drink a richer, raisiny flavor. The pineapple juice and coconut cream used to make the cocktail are from Alain Milliat in Valence, France, making the Pineau Colada a refreshing and not overly sweet drink that can be enjoyed at lunch and dinner.

3. The Rockefeller Martini, Lodi

Lodi's Rockefeller Martini is a contemporary twist on the classic. With a choice between gin or vodka, vermouth secco, and a dash of lemon oil, it's served in a coupe, with the rest of the concoction in a carafe resting on a bed of ice. The presentation is on a silver tray with green olives and seasonal pickles. This delicious drink is available to order at any time.

4. The Green River, Pebble Bar

This unique blend of Hendrick's Gin, Chareau Aloe liqueur, cucumber juice, lime, and mint, shaken with mint and served in a coupe glass, makes for a tantalizingly delicious Green River cocktail. The Hendrick's Gin gives it a cucumber twist, while the aloe liqueur adds a refreshing note. The Demerara syrup gives the drink a body and depth that stands out from the ordinary. Enjoy it while it's still part of the Pebble Bar winter menu, as it's sure to become a house classic.

5. The Beretta, Jupiter

The Beretta is a delicious cocktail made with Prosecco, husk cherries, and Grappa. The husk cherries give it a savory and fruity flavor, the Grappa adds an earthy taste, and the Prosecco gives it a light, refreshing finish. It is perfect for sipping during Aperitivo Hour when enjoying a light snack or a plate of pasta.

Conclusion

New York City is a vibrant and exciting city with many nightlife experiences. From classic cocktails to modern-day concoctions, there is something for everyone when it comes to enjoying a night out in the Big Apple. The five cocktails highlighted in this article are just a few of the many drinks in the city. MasterChef Tom Aviv Makes US Debut With Branja, Retro Concept in Miami

Annabella Pardo

Award-winning chef and restaurateur Tom Aviv is bringing his bold style and out-of-the box recipes to the U.S. with the highly anticipated concept, Branja. Officially debuting on February 7, 2023, the restaurant, located in Miami’s Upper Buena Vista, offers elevated dishes reflective of Aviv’s Israeli background.

Known internationally for his flavorful and imaginative dishes, Aviv’s Branja offers options for every palate. A cultural expedition, guests entering Branja step back in time to Tel Aviv in the ‘70s. With a distinct retro design and warm pastel colors, every detail is carefully curated. Branja’s interior and exterior design is a cross between Tel Aviv’s iconic indoor-outdoor train station structure and a cathedral structure, and ancient Synagogue seating, while a towering outdoor mural depicts retro art vignettes by Tel Aviv-based artist Paul Curran, representing the city’s neighborhoods and bustling markets.

Photo via @branjamiami

Born and raised in Tel Aviv, the chef became a household name after winning MasterChef Israel in 2016. Although Aviv had no formal culinary training, he quickly gained notoriety for his sensational persona and use of imaginative flavors. Over the past six years, he has launched multiple unique restaurant concepts in Israel and Morocco — all of which quickly became dining hotspots. Starting with the energetic Coco Bambino, located in Tel Aviv’s popular Carmel Market, which was an immediate success thanks to its Israeli dishes with an Italian twist. Following the accolades of his initial concept, Aviv debuted Fat Cow, which earned TimeOut’s “Best Hamburger in Tel Aviv” for three consecutive years. Most recently, thanks to the historic peace agreement between Israel and Morocco, Aviv became the first Israeli chef to open a restaurant in Casablanca with his concept Milk + Honey. Offering modern Halal fare, the casual eatery has become wildly popular. Now, Aviv is making his state-side debut with Branja—an  immersive, high-vibe culinary voyage.

Photo via @branjamiami

“Miami’s melting pot of cultures and cuisines is much like my own culinary inspirations, which combine the vibrant flavors of my upbringing in Israel with my travels across the globe. With Branja being my first restaurant in the United States, I am excited to introduce this unique taste and create a memorable dining experience,” shares Aviv. “The name Branja is Hebrew slang, originating from the word for tree branch, that translates to ‘a circle of friends.’ Branja’s small outdoor terrace and 12-seat Chef’s Table experience offer an exclusive setting to share plates and explore new flavors.”

Photo via @branjamiami

Located in the idyllic Upper Buena Vista retail sanctuary, Branja’s retro, 3,000-square foot space, is as captivating as its menu. The 12-seat Chef’s Table offers two intimate omakase-style seatings for guests each night, and the open-concept kitchen allows guests to watch Aviv and his team construct culinary art. Replete with copper accents throughout, the indoor portion of space also offers a flashback to retro Miami: The iconic bar from the Delano Hotel’s Florida Room, designed by Lenny Kravitz, is repurposed as the Chef’s Table.

Photo via @branjamiami

The idyllic, covered outdoor terrace, seat 150s, and blends the sights and smells of Tel Aviv with the bustling Buena Vista neighborhood. Curran’s 45-foot tall mural, greets guests with retro patterns and colorful vignettes inspired by Tel Aviv. Looking up, a kaleidoscope of yellows, blues and greens created by the restaurant’s colorful stained-glass ceiling sets the vibe for the unique dining experience, with fixtures like hand-crafted terrazzo-top tables and reclaimed synagogue benches, while guests dine with upcycled 1970’s original cutlery and pastel ceramic plates.

Photo via @branjamiami

Branja’s menu pulls inspiration from around the globe, while incorporating the signature spices and flavors of generational Israeli recipes. Dishes will change seasonally, as Branja sources ingredients locally. Intentionally light and designed for sharing, signature dishes include Fish & Bread, a flavorful ceviche style appetizer, and fresh takes on classics like Falafish, a Falafel and juice fish hybrid and Fishwarma, made with a spiced fish mix that includes fatty salmon and grouper to emulate classic shawarma. Other creative dishes include Krouv - “Cabbage” in Hebrew - which, through a four stage preparation, mimics a slow cooked short rib. Guests can also opt for the Mama Ligua,  a fresh corn polenta with caramelized leeks and truffles. Branja is a Kosher-style restaurant, and Kosher meat dishes include Tuktuk Kebab - a Branja favorite that uses Thai-inspired ingredients - tamarind glaze and a herbaceous seasoning - for a perfectly sweet and sour ground meat; Beef Tarpaccio, which elegantly melds classic beef tartare and carpaccio; and  Orthodox steak, a premium quality Glatt Kosher ribeye. To end on a sweet note, Branja showcases a selection of addictive desserts, including Layali Beirout, a modern take on a Lebanese classic, and Halva Crack Pie, which plays on familiar forms and nostalgic flavors distinctive of Israel.

Photo via @branjamiami

Guests can pair their meal with a libation from Branja’s selection of high end and premium signature cocktails, such as the colorful Purple Rain, made with za’atar infused tequila and butterfly pea, and rimmed with salt and dry za’atar as an ode to a classic Margarita; and the Paloma & Yaya, a raisin infused Arak paired ginger and grapefruit to give nostalgic hints of a casual Tel Avivian evening.

Branja is located at 5010 NE 2nd Avenue in Miami and is open for Dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. For more information, please call 786.765.5555 or visit branjamiami.com.
