The New York Botanical Garden Opens With Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame

The New York Botanical Garden celebrated their annual Spring Gala and newest exhibition KUSAMA: Cosmic Nature.

Guests joined Veuve Clicquot for the special champagne cocktail hour and enjoyed glasses of La Grande Dame 2012 – a prestige cuvee created in honor of the brand’s namesake, Madame Clicquot, who trailblazed the champagne industry with her innovations and audacity as a female entrepreneur in the early 1800s. On theme for the evening, the newest vintage bottles were designed by Yayoi Kusama for a limited edition collaboration, where she infused her signature dots, bright colors, and artistic style to spread a message of joy, hope, and optimism.

The crowd sipped champagne paired alongside hors d’oeuvres inspired by seasonal garden produce and enjoyed tunes by DJ Mei Kwok. Following the cocktail hour, guests stayed at The New York Botanical Garden for the annual Spring Gala, where they enjoyed a seated dinner, dancing and special preview of the exhibit.
