In the heart of Times Square, at the chic EDITION Paradise Club, fashion and luxury spirits converged in a spectacular Lunar New Year celebration hosted by Maison Hennessy and acclaimed fashion designer Phillip Lim. The event, held on February 8th, was not just a gathering but a vibrant spectacle, marking the onset of New York Fashion Week (NYFW) and the Year of the Dragon with style, tradition, and a touch of modern flair.

The evening, titled "Enter The Dragon," was a tribute to the dragon's dynamic energy and transformative nature. It brought together an eclectic mix of VIPs, including stars like Awkwafina, Laura Kim, and Ronny Chieng, alongside fashion icons and creatives. The celebration began with a VIP cocktail hour in the EDITION’s Garden East, where guests were treated to Hennessy's signature cocktails, including the V.S.O.P Dragon Sidecar and X.O Dragon Old Fashioned. The atmosphere was electric, buzzing with anticipation and the spirit of the Lunar New Year.
As the night unfolded, guests were ushered into the private Garden West room for an extraordinary multi-course dinner crafted by Chef Calvin Eng of Bonnie’s, complemented by an exclusive dessert from Chef Eunji Lee of Lysée. The dinner was a sensory journey, blending exquisite flavors with artistic presentation, a true reflection of Hennessy and Phillip Lim's dedication to excellence. A traditional Lion Dance, followed by a Hennessy Paradis toast led by Jasmin Allen, Senior Vice President of Hennessy, and Phillip Lim himself, served as the highlight of the dinner, encapsulating the essence of Lunar New Year traditions.
The celebration then transitioned into an elemental after-party at the Paradise Club, where the energy soared to new heights. The club was transformed into a realm of wonder, complete with fire silk fan dancers, aerialist performances, and hostesses dressed in 3.1 Phillip Lim. DJ Noodles set the tone for the night with her electrifying beats, followed by a luminous Dragon Dance and a parade featuring the X.O Dragon Cocktail bottle. DJ Soo Joo Park took over the decks, ensuring the party was not just an event, but an experience, a fitting kick-off to the Year of the Dragon.
This Lunar New Year celebration by Maison Hennessy was more than just a party; it was a showcase of art, culture, and the spirit of collaboration. The event also highlighted Hennessy's latest Lunar New Year collection, featuring artwork by the renowned Chinese artist Yang Yongliang. The collection includes three vibrant iterations of Hennessy expressions: the joyous red VSOP, the prosperous gold X.O, and the Paradis adorned in porcelain white and gold, each symbolizing key aspects of the Lunar New Year.
