Countess & Connections: Luann & Sonja Join the New York Times Games Leaderboard Craze
Real Housewives royalty meets crossword culture. Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan are officially puzzle people, and they’re not just solving Wordle in silk robes — they’re inviting fans to join in. As part of the New York Times Games’ newly launched multi-game leaderboard, the reality stars are bringing a dose of glam to the grid.
Now live in the NYT Games app, the leaderboard allows users to track scores across Wordle, Connections, Spelling Bee, and the Mini Crossword. But for the first time ever, solvers can also add celebrities — including Luann and Sonja — to see how they rank against the Countess and her fabulous cohort. Whether you’re a competitive speller or a casual morning solver, it’s never been more fun to stay connected (or keep tabs).
Beginning May 8 at 10 a.m. E.T., fans can add Luann and Sonja to their personal leaderboards on a first-come, first-served basis — with only the first 100 slots open for each celeb. Their scores will be visible in the NYT Games app through May 11, offering a brief but very chic glimpse into how reality TV’s favorite duo performs under puzzle pressure. Grab your morning coffee, warm up your wordplay, and see if you can outsmart the Housewives.
