The Veridian Opens Sales With Renovated Homes on Bay Ridge Waterfront

RockFarmer Properties has launched sales at The Veridian, a comprehensively reimagined 78-unit cooperative at 9323 Shore Road on the Bay Ridge waterfront. Originally built in 1961, the six-story building has been transformed with fully renovated residences and an extensive new collection of amenities, a combination the neighborhood has rarely seen. Ten homes sold during a limited preview ahead of the official launch, including two purchases that combined adjacent apartments into larger layouts. The project pairs the finishes and lifestyle typically associated with new luxury condominiums with pricing well below comparable offerings in many established Brooklyn neighborhoods.

RockFarmer plans to offer roughly 50 residences ranging from studios to four bedrooms, with select adjacent units available to combine into larger homes. Studios start in the $300,000s and three-bedroom residences start in the $900,000s, giving buyers an alternative to pricier apartments in neighborhoods such as Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights and Carroll Gardens. Kitchens feature custom cabinetry with under-cabinet lighting, quartz countertops, Fisher & Paykel panel-ready refrigerators and microwaves, and Bosch gas ranges and panel-ready dishwashers. Homes also include warm oak flooring, solid wood doors, in-unit laundry and generous storage, with select residences offering private outdoor space, beamed ceilings and architectural window boxes. John Petras, managing principal of RockFarmer Properties, said the team saw an opportunity to bring Bay Ridge buyers the finishes and amenities of new development while keeping pricing attainable compared with other parts of Brooklyn.

The building’s common areas have been significantly expanded, anchored by the Vista Skydeck, a landscaped rooftop with sweeping views of New York Harbor and the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and a limited number of private cabanas available for purchase. Additional amenities include a landscaped courtyard with barbecue areas, a residents lounge, library lounge, children’s playroom, co-working studio, fitness center, meditative grove, package room, bicycle storage, on-site storage and on-site parking. The Veridian sits steps from Shore Road Park and its waterfront promenade, with easy access to the restaurants, shops and bakeries along Third, Fourth and Fifth avenues.
