Inside the Star-Studded Met Gala After-Party at People’s, Lit by Dom Pérignon

On May 5th, as the fashion elite traded the Met steps for velvet banquettes, Dom Pérignon set the after-hours standard at People’s—the buzzy new art saloon and social club in Greenwich Village. The exclusive 2025 Met Gala after-party carried the evening’s theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, into the early morning hours with an energy equal parts avant-garde and iconic.

The centerpiece? The debut of Dom Pérignon’s White Luminous Edition Vintage 2015, which glowed—literally—throughout the space, adding a sleek sheen to late-night revelry. As guests sipped Champagne beneath dandy-inspired florals, the irreverent luxe vibe was elevated further by indulgent comfort fare—think caviar-topped burgers and fries, all under the buzz of Dom-fueled glamour.

Tracee Ellis Ross, Lorde, BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim, Charli XCX, Robert Pattinson, Julia Fox, and a constellation of others mingled under moody lighting while DJ Cosmo spun a perfectly curated soundtrack. With spontaneous performances and a room full of fashion’s biggest names, the People’s after-party proved once again that in New York, the night doesn’t end—it evolves.
