Lenny Kravitz Joins Soloviev Foundation for the Launch of “Path of Liberty” Installation
The Soloviev Foundation unveiled a sweeping new public art installation on May 8th titled Path of Liberty: That Which Unites US, a 6-acre immersive experience lining First Avenue from 38th to 41st Street in Manhattan. Designed as a lead-up to America’s 250th anniversary in 2026, the exhibit tells powerful stories of World War II heroes, immigrants, and contemporary changemakers through large-scale visuals, audio narratives, and interactive storytelling. The ribbon-cutting ceremony welcomed special guest Lenny Kravitz, who helped recognize the winners of the Future Generations Essay Contest and praised the project for highlighting the voices of today’s youth.
Created by C&G Partners and directed by filmmaker Daniella Vale, the installation offers a moving visual narrative of American ideals—liberty, equality, resilience—through personal portraits and archival storytelling. At the heart of the opening night celebration were Janet and Jonathan, two local high school students whose essays on identity and freedom captured the spirit of the exhibit. Kravitz, who served as a judge, spoke about the lasting power of civic expression and youth perspectives, calling the students’ reflections “an inspiration and a model for all of us.”
Path of Liberty officially opens to the public on May 15, with free reservations available Thursday through Saturday evenings at pathoflibertynyc.com. Illuminated displays will also be viewable from the street Sunday through Wednesday. As Stefan Soloviev shared during the event, “This isn’t just art—it’s a living dialogue.” With its stirring portraits and inclusive mission, Path of Liberty sets a new standard for public art rooted in history, unity, and hope. The Soloviev Foundation unveiled a sweeping new public art installation on May 8th titled Path of Liberty: That Which Unites US, a 6-acre immersive experience lining First Avenue from 38th to 41st Street in Manhattan.
