Legion and EJS Group Are Building a 500-Foot Spire in the Middle of Greenwich Village
Greenwich Village is getting a new silhouette. Legion Investment Group and EJS Group have unveiled The Greenwich Spire, a 34-residence condominium tower at 11 West 13th Street that will rise roughly 500 feet just off Fifth Avenue, making it one of the tallest additions to one of Manhattan’s most low-rise, historic neighborhoods.

The building is designed by KPF, with interiors by Leroy Street Studio, and the plan leans on restraint rather than spectacle. The facade mixes blade cut brick, stone, and metalwork in a single tone, with fluted cast stone pillars framing the entrance and leading into a rare covered porte-cochere. Vertical piers and loggias break up the tower’s profile and give many residences corner exposures, while the majority of units come with private outdoor space, a rarity at this height in the city. “We build high-quality developments for the long term, and this building reflects that commitment,” said Victor Sigoura, founder and CEO of Legion Investment Group.
The Greenwich Spire continues a run for Legion, which recently launched sales at 1122 Madison Avenue, a 26-residence Upper East Side project designed by Studio Sofield that is already largely under contract, and which is also developing 38 Gramercy Park East, the first ground-up condominium on Gramercy Park in nearly a century, along with 550 West 21st Street in West Chelsea. Sales at The Greenwich Spire are expected to launch later this year, led by Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group, with pricing starting at $4.5 million and construction slated for completion in mid-2028.
