What a Building Number Can Tell You About The Energy of the Place

September 30, 2020 by Jeremy Lindy

It’s not uncommon to find people who sacredly value their fortunate numbers and despise unfortunate digits. The Chinese culture is known to be one of the cultures with a heavy focus on numerology and its consequences, where different numerology and Feng Shui schools of thought have emerged.

What may come off as a surprise to many is that a simple address can tell you a lot about the energy of that space. To help you understand how this works, we’ve created a brief guide that should help you wrap your head around it.

Determining a Building’s Number

Before you can use an address to get insight on the energy inside the place, you need to know more about how to calculate a building’s number. According to numerology practices, an address must be transformed into a single digit, which is done through compounding addresses through addition. If you live in 525 Victoria Street, for example, you’ll want to add each digit separately, which results in 12.

Since 12 isn’t a single digit, you’ll have to redo the process on this double-digit, netting 3. Not all addresses are this simple. Some streets may contain a number, but you should ignore a street’s number in your calculations. If you’re living in an apartment, you only need to take into account the unit number.

If the apartment unit or street number contains a letter, you’ll have to convert this letter using its numeric equivalent. Always ensure that you’ve boiled down the address to a single-digit number to be able to accurately determine its energy.

Numbers 1, 2, and 3

It’s believed that the energy coming off a building numbered 1 belongs to self-employed, dependent, or single individuals. This number is famous for people who love to maintain their autonomy and independence, choosing to go the extra mile to stay self-sufficient. You’ll often find inside business owners, freelancers, or those on a self-discovery journey. If you’re someone who is looking to become more reliant on themselves, this number will be right up your alley. It’s worth mentioning that it’s not the best number for those who are looking for companionship or starting a family. When you look further into the meaning of soul urge number 1, you will see that this number also describes a person with leadership abilities and a charismatic personality.

Number 2 is on the opposite sides of the equation to number 1. It’s a number suited for instilling a sense of belongingness and strong relationships. If you’re going to be living with a partner, roommate, or your family, number 2 would be your best bet. What makes things more interesting is that the most famous angel number, a message from angels, consists of 222. You’ll be surprised to learn about the angel number 222 meaning in numerology. Combining various elements from numbers 2 and 6, they create unmatched stability that can neutralize negativity, so its meaning is balance, in essence. Number 3 isn’t that much different for number 2 except for the type of bonds that thrive inside. It’s more useful for artists and individuals who like to have the best things in life. Social gatherings and parties are much better in such homes.

Numbers 4, 5, and 6

The number 4 is always associated with practicality and resourcefulness in a numerology reading. The vibrations and energy that number 4 gives are that of discipline and reason. You’ll be quite well in a number 4 if you’re looking to grow your business, improve the bonds between your family, or manage your finances. Number 5 is a polar opposite because it focuses more on having fun and introducing guests. It’s great for those who want to enjoy what life gives them and try to accept themselves more.

In numerology, number 6 is synonymous with harmony. If you’re looking for the coziest place to live in, you might begin your search with a number 6 address. You’ll notice that you’re feeling at-home even if you just moved in a few days ago; your guests may feel the same after staying for a couple of hours. It synchronizes well with comfortable furniture and peaceful plants.

Numbers 7, 8, and 9

Spirituality and introspection are the most noticeable feature of the number 7 homes. The vibrations it gives off are quite calm and quiet, yet they are filled with positivity and warmth. It’s a great place to lose yourself in reflection and meditation.

The less clutter in such a home, the clearer its energy. Homes that belong to number 8 are actually the opposite. Sky-high ambition and rapid growth are the marks of a number 8 home. If you’re pursuing achievements and huge goals, it will be perfect for you.

Number 9 inspires love in the hearts of anyone who enters its space. You’ll be amazed by the variety of individuals that it attracts. It can neutralize negative vibrations and transform a building into a welcoming space. Creativity, charity, and selflessness seem to characterize individuals who belong to the number 9 homes.

A lot of people are familiar with astrology and the potential of planets when it comes to affecting human lives and energy. However, not everyone knows that number can extend beyond a birthdate. In a life dictated by numbers, whether it is money, calculations, or statistics, it’s hard not to feel the energy of the building’s number.
