Wellness Treatment Options for Spring

March 22, 2021 by Jeremy Lindy

Acupuncture

It's been a long winter and an arduous time in various lockdown situations. You might be feeling the strain. It shouldn't surprise you to feel tension and stresses in your body that weren't there before, because unconsciously, our lifestyles affect us.

This spring use acupuncture to get back to wellness. Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese technology that uses a needle to stimulate the flow of energy in your body. This energy will release from knots and tight spots and flow more freely to the places it's needed.

Singing Bowl Sound Therapy

If the idea of having little needles pinned in your body doesn't enthuse you, why not consider an alternative therapy to alleviate the stresses and strains of a difficult winter season. Singing bowl sound therapy is the perfect way to relax and harmonise.

A singing bowl sound therapy session uses a range of techniques to bring your mind and body back to blissful harmony. You will use breath works, meditation, and sound immersion to unblock your characters energy and realign your system.

Chiropractor Back Work

If you've been working hard all winter it's time to give yourself a break, and a treat, as the weather starts to change for the better. If you've been stuck in your home or office for months chances are you have some unresolved back issues that could be causing your stress and tension without realising it.

Use a Chiropractor to realign the vertebrae of your spine and release stress and tension in the body. Following a chiropractic session you will be amazed by how out of alignment you have been and will probably book again to ensure your skeleton stays healthy and doesn't cause you any trouble.

Deep Tissue Massage

Quite often the body tension we experience is a result of stress in our muscles. We use our muscles all the time, even when just sitting or laying down. As a result stress can occur at a deeper level that can't easily be resolved. The best route out of bad habits is to start with a deep tissue massage.

During a deep tissue massage session your therapist will focus on realigning the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. These will have developed tension through the winter as you work on an office chair for hours. The massage will resolve knots and tension that benefit your life.

Empowerment Healing

If you are feeling stressed or have some health issues that you can't explain you might benefit from empowerment healing. This therapy works on the premise that a lot of the body-mind process occurs at an unconscious level, as a result, it's not always easy to know what the issue is or how to resolve it.

Through empowerment healing sessions you will explore the issues with your therapist at a cognitive and emotional level. You will use a range of techniques and practices to identify pain points and bring your attention to them. As you become more aware of these you can work with them for better wellness.
