7 Tips to Create a Luxury Bathroom

February 07, 2022 by Jeremy Lindy

We all know the feeling of staying in luxury hotels where everything looks extra expensive and where you can feel like a queen or king. But, have you ever thought about creating that feeling inside your own home? Imagine converting your master bathroom into a luxury one like the ones you see on TV or you’ve visited on your last summer holiday. Well, I will tell you one thing – you don’t have to imagine it, you can make it all by yourself (mostly)!

The best thing about renovating your bathroom and making it look like a bathroom from the cover of the magazine is the thing you don’t have to rob a bank to make this happen! If you like how it sounds, keep reading!

We have covered some fantastic ideas for recreating your bathroom into a luxury one. Some of those projects are easily done and super-fast, the others will require more time and some professional help, but anyway, in the end, you will get the luxury bathroom of your dreams!

Can you imagine the feeling while you are soaking in a deep bathtub surrounded by bubbles and rose petals? Don’t let it stay just in your dream – make it happen! Stay with me, and I will give you the list of 7 Tips to create a Luxury bathroom in your home. Just, keep reading!

1. Get a quiet washing machine

Having a washing machine inside your bathroom can be frustrating if you try to relax and imagine you are, for example, in a spa center. Especially if the machine is too loud. It really can ruin the whole bathing experience and even your feelings toward your bathroom. But, hey, don’t worry, there is a solution for it. You can purchase washers and dryers here, which are specially designed to be quiet and efficient. You may even add some essential oils to the laundry for a nice scent while you relax. If you don’t have extra space in some other part of the house, get a quiet washing machine and let it stay in your bathroom!

It won’t spoil the look of it anymore, and the sound won’t be loud to all – you won’t hear it at all actually! You can also buy a cover sheet for the machine that matches the ambient and put some nice baskets and pretty towels on the top of your machine, and the look is now completed!

2. Make your ambient stand out

This is the part where you can let your imagination works its way. Think about colors, spaces, drawers, and all other things that will help your bathroom convert into a luxury one. And also, this is the part where you will spend a little more money, but it is definitely worth it!

Consider consulting with bathroom remodeling experts to ensure that your vision for a luxury bathroom becomes a reality. These professionals can provide invaluable advice on materials, layout, and the latest trends to perfectly match your aspirations. Hiring experienced contractors can also save you time and effort on DIY projects, as well as prevent costly mistakes.

Customize it for your own needs. Put as many drawers as you think you will need, and all other kinds of storage.

3. Get a freestanding bathtub

If you want your bathtub to look luxurious this one is the best choice you can make. This incredible design will really allow you to express your style of elegance and make your first step into your bathroom like a step into a 5-stars hotel bathroom.

Before considering having this amazing standing bathtub, you should see if there is enough space for it in your bathroom. Those freestanding bathtubs are often large, so they carry more water, which makes them heavier. Keep that in mind!

4. Pick the best wall mounted toilet

In the past few years, getting a wall mounted toilet become very popular. And you have to admit, they really give an extra point for getting a luxury effect in your own bathroom. The first big, and maybe the most important, advantage of having a wall mounted toilet is that you get to save a lot of floor space.

They are a great option for small bathrooms, but also for big ones, if you want to use that space for adding something else. So, if you want your bathroom to have a luxury look, pick a best wall mounted toilet you can find. You won’t regret it!

5. Add some sitting

Choosing the colorful ottoman, an armchair, or a cushy upholstered bench will give the extra luxurious look to your bathroom. An extra place to sit will increase the feeling of luxury, but consider adding any of those just if you have enough space for it. Do not put it in your bathroom and later use it as a place to put your dirty things – that won’t look very luxurious at all!

Make it colorful and pretty, and be sure that it will change the whole feeling of the room!

6. Buy the best towels you can afford

Towels always give some extra points for luxury bathrooms. You cannot have a great bathroom if you are drying yourself with old, thin towels. Did you get towels like those when you were in a luxury hotel? Of course not! Get yourself fluffy, oversized, soft, organic towels! You need to have those in your bathroom, and you definitely want to dry yourself off using them! It’s not just about the aesthetics – good towels are made of materials that are good for your skin.

Consider buying matching colors towels, to get an even more luxurious look at your bathroom! And if you have a chance, and money, of course, you can install a heated towel rack. Do you know the feeling from the spa center where the towels are warm all the time? Have that in your home too!

7. Get stylish double sink

Double sinks are pretty practical, and also luxurious reminiscent of lavish hotels. And they are, for sure, a great, worthy addition to your bathroom. Especially if you and your partner are busy and need separate sinks in the morning while you are in a hurry.

Getting a double sink will increase the value of your home. It will get that final touch of elegance and definitely make your bathroom look luxurious.

If you want to get luxurious look in your bathroom, keep in mind the fact you do not need the fortune to make it happen. There are so many little things you can change to make a little-spa in your house. Little things can make a huge difference, remember it.
