Throughout the last year, cheese and charcuterie boards have flooded social media, with new and inventive takes on how to turn a basic board into a beautiful work of art. What else was there to do, right? We’re here to share with new tips and tricks from chef and author Sarah Copeland of Edible Living on how to create beautiful and delicious cheese boards to make these monotonous weekends at home feel a little more festive. Sarah Copeland has partnered with Plume & Petal, to teach you how to elevate your cheese boards, which pair perfectly with a Plume & Petal cocktail.

Sarah’s Top Tips Are

  1. Pick a cheese from four different categories: creamy, distinctive, funky and crowd-pleaser

  2. Add a variety of different flavors and textures from your charcuterie to your snacks, with crunchy Asian pear and cascading nuts and berries

  3. Make sure everything is accessible with small pieces in an easy-to-grab layout

  4. Use a lot of small dishes, spoons and forks to make it easy for everyone to enjoy the board and mitigate cross contamination

  5. More is More! Squeeze as much as you can on the board

Recipe for Plume & Petal Lemon Drift Spritz below!

A serve that’s as simple as it is special, add a splash of club soda to Plume & Petal Lemon Drift for any moment, big or small. An added bonus, it can be easily batched as a spectacular group serve.

Ingredients:

1.5 oz. Plume & Petal Lemon Drift

3 oz. High-quality Club Soda

Garnish: Signature Fruit Garnish – Cucumber Slices, Lemon Wheels, or Peach Slices

Glass: Wine glass

Directions: Build in wine glass over ice. Garnish with 3 lemon wheels. May be served in carafe for a group serve.

To complement the board, we recommend pairing the charcuterie board with Plume & Petal libations. Crisp and refreshing, the three variants of Plume & Petal (Peach Wave, Cucumber Splash, Lemon Drift) contain only 83 calories and are a great, lighter alternative to wine.
