Inside the Balvenie and CFDA’s collaboration with Todd Snyder

If you’re looking for a unique holiday gift this season, you’re in luck! The Balvenie Single Malt Scotch Whisky, the Council of Fashion Designers of America Foundation and Todd Snyder are debuting the first-ever Crafted called The Balvenie Presents: CFDA & Todd Snyder Crafted Collection. .

The Crafted Collection is a curated series of handcrafted items that is incorporating wood from the barrels at The Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. There is something for everyone in the Crafted Collection, so you can find the perfect gift for your most challenging buy.

The Crafted Collection, inspired by the handcrafted nature of The Balvenie Single Malt Scotch Whisky, is available for sale from 10/01 - 11/31 at the Todd Snyder Flagship, 25 E. 26th St, New York City, and from 10/01 through the end of the year at toddsnyder.com/craftedcollection.

 Here is what The Crafted Collection is offering:

Balvenie snare drums made from fir timbers, which housed the aged whiskey. The drum is handcrafted by Louie Scalzo of SJC Drums and is priced at $1,500.

Bar carts made out of transformed Balvenie barrels by Mats Christéen of Foundrywood and is priced at $3,900.

Balvenie wood charcuterie boards infused with Balvenie-scented essential oils, and comes with a built in Glencairn whisky glass recess from Dylan Mellinger of Black Fox Furniture priced at $75.

Luxury men’s one-of-a-kind leather dress shoes with Balvenie wood heels from Raul Ojeda of LA-based Willie’s Shoe Service and Don Ville available in in men’s size 8-12 and prices at $3,600. Although, if the shoes aren’t in your size, you can purchase an exclusive package which includes a domestic round-trip flight to LA to meet with Raul to get a fitting for a custom pair of the Balvenie-heeled dress shoes. It also comes with a Balvenie tasting experience at Raul’s studio, and a 2 night stay in a 5 star hotel.
