Bergdorf Goodman and The Macallan Celebrate Goodman's Second Floor Unveilin
On Wednesday, June 14, the legendary retailer Bergdorf Goodman joined hands with The Macallan, the renowned single malt whisky brand, to celebrate the unveiling of the new Goodman's second floor. The two brands, sharing an appreciation for quality and craftsmanship, put together an elevated evening of seasonal cocktails and exceptional whisky tastings.
The event invited guests into the vibrant world of Goodman's, among them influential figures like Igee Okafor, Alex Costa, and Marcel Floruss. Nestled on the second floor, the Goodman’s Bar served an assortment of libations including The Macallan’s Double Cask 12 Years Old, 15 Years Old, and 18 Years Old whiskies. These were available neat, on the rocks, or featured in a range of cocktails like the "Glass House", a unique blend of The Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old, lemon, spirulina, pear brandy, and orange blossom tonic water.
The evening wasn't just about enjoyment, but education too. Guests had a chance to interact with The Macallan sensory table—an immersive and enlightening vignette. In the newly set-up VIP fitting suite, The Macallan Rare Cask was available for exclusive tastings.
The reimagined second floor, home to an array of exclusive collections and leading brands in tailoring, formal wear, and sportswear, promises to cater to Goodman's clientele with better service and layout considerations. The event was hosted at Bergdorf Goodman, 754 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10019.
