This $3.845 Million Brooklyn Mansion Is a Queen Anne Time Capsule With a Very Modern Kitchen

July 27, 2026 by Jeremy Lindy in Real Estate

A slice of Brooklyn history just hit the market in Crown Heights North, and it comes with a turret. The freestanding Queen Anne at 1094 Park Place is listed for $3,845,000 with Douglas Elliman’s Alexander Boriskin, Michael Lorber, Jared Halpern, and Jorge Barrios, making it one of the more dramatic listings to surface in the neighborhood this year.

Designed by architect Henry B. Moore at the turn of the 20th century, the house sits on an unusually generous 52-foot-wide by 120-foot-deep lot, a footprint that is nearly impossible to find in New York City today. The original details are still doing the talking: a wraparound porch, a signature turret, stained glass, hand-carved woodwork, decorative fireplaces, a grand staircase, and soaring ceilings that read more Newport than Brooklyn. It has been meticulously restored rather than gutted, which is part of what makes it feel rare.

The house is not purely a museum piece. Updates include central air, modernized mechanicals, renovated bathrooms, and a chef’s kitchen, plus landscaped grounds and private parking, a genuine luxury in this part of Brooklyn. The location itself is a selling point: the home sits within the Crown Heights North Historic District, one of Brooklyn’s most architecturally significant pockets, surrounded by the borough’s largest concentration of intact Victorian-era residences. For buyers hunting for scale and character in equal measure, it is a rare combination.
