Top Useful Tools for Everyone Who Is Working from Home

June 12, 2021 by Jeremy Lindy

The COVID-19 global pandemic has awakened the business world to the importance of working remotely. As a result, even organizations that have rigid workplace rules have had to tone down a little and obey the government rules. Today most companies allow their employees to work from home so that they can minimize physical contact and the spread of the coronavirus.

The trend of working from home is also effective and may continue to become a preferred tactic even in the future. Therefore, employees are also devising ways and tools to enhance their working remotely and enable them to perform better. These are some of the top useful tools for everyone who is working from home:

A ProofHub

ProofHub is a good project management tool to enhance your working from home experience. With this tool, you can easily manage your project teams remotely. The tool can handle an unlimited number of projects at one particular time. With this tool, you can manage any team size, and teams from any industry. The tool is comprehensive and can allow you to choose different options.

You can choose to keep track of your working hours, generate project reports or manage certain project tasks. The tool also comprises different collaboration tools. You can use the tool for built-in chats, sharing documents, markup tools, document proofreading, and file storage. All these tools can enhance the efficiency of any employee.

Printers

Regardless of the industry within which you work, you need to use a printer at some point as you work. Luckily there are small-sized printers which you can comfortably store at home and use whenever the need arises. It is important to understand your needs before implementing new equipment into your workflow. For those who need only document printing, they can use small wireless desktop printers, which increase productivity and reduce costs. However, for those who need several requirements, multifunctional printers can be a good addition to the workflow, which can also be wireless and cost-efficient. Organization managers at Print a world recommend that you acquire resin 3D printers to enhance your enjoyment of tabletop games. You can also use the 3d printer to develop your miniature and artworks.

Good 3D printers can enable you to use them effortlessly and are of very high quality. With these printers, you can develop printouts that have a high resolution, and invisible print lines in a very short time.

A Wrike

Wrike can also enhance your efficiency as you work from home. It has inbuilt online collaborative tools that you can use to share comments with your colleagues or bookmark images. This tool enables you to collaborate with your teammates remotely while updating the project managers on time.

Zoom

You must have heard about the zoom software. This tool can enable you to keep in touch with all your teammates both visually and audibly as you shall prefer. You can use it to update each other on the status of your daily tasks without any disruption. This application can allow up to one thousand participants and ten thousand viewers to participate in a meeting at one particular time.

The application also allows you to hold webinars, and conduct live meetings. You can record all videos and audio as the meeting continues so that you can listen to or view them later should the need arise. The application is compatible with Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.

Trello

Trello is a simple project management tool that can enhance your teamwork. The platform can allow you to create individual boards for every project you are handling. You can also use this tool to add cards and lists to better manage your project tasks. The tool can also let you assign cards to specific members of your team for ease of tracking whether they have completed their assigned tasks.

Github

Github can make it easy for you to collaborate with your coworkers. You can easily communicate with your team managers and update them on how far you are with certain project tasks. Likewise, you can communicate with the team manager and consult him/her when you get stuck with certain projects. It's a code hosting platform. Therefore, you can review codes, host codes, manage projects or build software with the tool.

As you work on your statistics projects you can use Github to share codes instead of sharing them on the general communication platforms. Furthermore, you can create your customized software within the application. You can use this application on your macOS or windows.

With this COVID-19 pandemic, you must acquire different tools that can facilitate your working at home. There are tools like the Proof Hub, Wrike, and Zoom which you can use to communicate with your teammates and project managers. These tools enable you to keep track of assigned tasks and reassign them when your supervisor prompts you.

Trello can enable you to break down tasks and update your coworkers on every project’s board. This enhances trackability and reduces confusion. The Github application is a must-have tool if you handle codes and need to share certain codings with colleagues. You also need printers if you handle the paperwork. 3D printers can help you if you work in design and art-related fields.
