Top 5 Reasons Hulu is Better than Netflix

Top 5 Reasons Hulu is Better than Netflix

November 29, 2023 by Jeremy Lindy

If you wish to know why Hulu is better than Netflix, spare no time to get to know why and how you could have a better experience streaming Hulu than Netflix. Take your time reading this blog, because some crucial points highlight the difference between the two.

So, without any further ado, let's see which qualities make Hulu a wiser choice for people who wish to subscribe to OTT platforms to stream their favourite content online.

Broadcasting the Latest Episodes Quickly

Hulu is said to broadcast the latest episodes of any show that is released online, unlike Netflix, which takes its fair share of time having people stream the show on its platform and pushes the viewers to opt for other sites to watch the fresh episodes ASAP.

Prompt releases of new seasons and their episodes enable people to catch up with their favourite shows on time and hopefully stay away from the spoilers available on the internet soon after the release.

It is one of the most important things that makes people opt for any streaming platform immediately, even temporarily, which has the potential to turn them into regular customers.

Better Content Library

Netflix is said to have a diverse content library, but it depends upon the region. Its content library differs for every country, which makes it inconvenient for people living abroad to access any show or movie that might be unavailable in their region but available in others.

To combat that issue, most people use VPNs to bypass the geo-ban. On the other hand, Hulu offers one content library which is diverse with more popular shows and movies in it.

Despite it being US-based, a VPN could help people living abroad access it easily and enjoy streaming from its library, like watching Hulu Malaysia or Hulu Singapore.

Live TV Streaming

Hulu allows people to stream programs live, including some very popular sports, like NFL. Netflix offers no such thing, which makes it a downside in opting for it.

While Hulu’s live TV streaming (without ads) may seem a little expensive for some (i.e., $76.99/month), its quality and other perks make up for its pricing perfectly.

You don’t have to necessarily go for a live TV if you don’t wish for it, as the rest of Hulu’s plans would suffice for anyone who streams only shows and movies and doesn’t need anything extra.

Bundles with Other Platforms

There are the following bundles of Hulu with other platforms:

·         Disney Bundle Duo Basic: $9.99/month, includes Disney+ (with ads) and Hulu (with ads).

·         Disney Bundle Trio Basic: $12.99/month, includes Disney+ (with ads), Hulu (with ads), and ESPN+ (with ads).

·         Disney Bundle Trio Premium: $19.99/month, subscribers get Disney+ (No Ads), Hulu (No Ads), and ESPN+ (with ads).

·         Hulu (with ads) + Live TV, Disney+ (with ads), and ESPN+ (with ads): $69.99/month.

·         Hulu (No Ads) + Live TV, Disney+ (No Ads), and ESPN+ (with ads): $82.99/month.

On the contrary, Netflix doesn’t contain any bundles with other streaming sites.

Add-On Channels

People who use Hulu have the option to add more channels on their platforms, such as HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, and STARZ for an extra amount of money. The plan starts from $8.99 to $14.99 per month. You could go even lower on the money with only $4.99/month if you have Hulu Live TV.

Those add-ons contain Español channels, Entertainment, and Sports. Finally, users can also unlock an unlimited number of supported devices to stream Hulu on with an extra $9.99/month. As good as Netflix is on its own, it lacks this feature.

Conclusion

To sum it up, we hope that you have now understood how Hulu could help you experience better quality streaming and provide you with a complete library of unique and diverse content. Feel free to share this blog with your peers, and help them access Hulu in their respective regions with a VPN.
