Defy Aging And Look Your Best For Years (A Guide)

If you think aging is just something that happens and there’s nothing that you can do about it, then think again. It turns out that it is far more pliable than anyone ever imagined.

The reason for this seems to come down to our inherent biology. Nature has actually built longevity into humans to help us thrive and survive long-term.

But what specifically should you be doing to defy aging and continue living the life you want?

That’s the topic of this post. It looks at some of the strategies you can implement to be your best self physically and mentally for years and decades to come so you can continue to enjoy your lifestyle.

Limit Alcohol

If you really want to take your longevity game to the next level, it’s essential to limit alcohol. Too many people think that they can just drink as much as they want, but that’s not the case at all. Alcohol is aging for the skin and can have profound effects on health at a deep level. Those who want to be their best for many years always avoid it.

Stay Socially Connected

If you’re reading this blog, you’ll like this one: staying socially connected. It’s imperative to remain  connected to the people around you in whatever capacity. You don’t necessarily have to be a socialite but having a few close friends is always useful.

Try NAC

Another strategy is to try using a NAC supplement and see what it does for you. You may find that you have more energy and can do more during the day. If you take it long enough, you may also notice a slow down in your aging. Usually, you’ll only see these effects if you keep it up day after day, month after month, and year after year. However, it can continue to compound the older you get.

Use Omega-3 Fatty Acids And Vitamin D

You can also supercharge your progress with omega-3 and vitamin D. These supplements help to avoid the deficits and deficiencies that a lot of Western populations have. A lot of people don’t get enough of these nutrients because they don’t have the right diet or sun exposure. However, a quick supplement can fix these problems.

Exercise Regularly

Of course, exercise plays a big role when you want to defy your years. If you can get to a class or go to the gym a few times a week, you’re already far ahead of the vast majority of people.

Exercising is a superpower as long as you approach it holistically. If you are too narrow, it can lead to problems like joint pain and injuries.

Use Moisturiser

While it might not be particularly sexy, researchers are discovering that moisturizer is one of the most effective ways to reduce skin aging. It works because it creates a barrier between the skin and the outside world, reducing the risk of oxidative stress and protecting skin from the pollution or radiation that it might encounter. Combining it with SPF50 is even better.
