Event Description: This Saturday 11/1 from 3-5pm, New Yorkers can visit Salt & Straw’s West Village shop to celebrate the launch of the Thanksgiving Series’ limited-edition Koginut ice cream – a collaboration inspired by the signature Koginut squash from acclaimed chef Dan Barber’s seed-to-table company, Row 7. The Row 7 Veggie Truck will be parked outside the shop, serving an exclusive lineup of Koginut-inspired toppings developed by Chefs Dan Barber and Mike Pyers, including Koginut gummies, Koginut crisps, and whipped Koginut cream.
The flavor features a maple sage ice cream infused with roasted Koginut squash from Row 7, rippled with pomegranate jelly and finished with a buttery cracker-hazelnut crumble. It's available as part of Salt & Straw's beloved Thanksgiving Series from 11/1 through Thursday 11/27 (Thanksgiving Day), in scoop shops across the country, via nationwide shipping, and on affiliate via ShareASale.
