The Old Seaport Annual Halloween Haunt: Trick-or-Treat Parade & Dog Costume Contest

The Old Seaport Annual Halloween Haunt! Lower Manhattan’s South Street Seaport will come alive on October 31 with a family-friendly evening of festivities hosted by the Friends of Peck Slip and the Old Seaport Alliance.

The celebration kicks off with a children’s Trick-or-Treat Parade at Fishbridge Garden at 4:30 p.m., followed by the beloved Dog Costume Contest at Peck Slip Plaza at 6 p.m. Families can enjoy pumpkin painting, hay bales, apple cider and cider donuts, photo ops, and festive decorations throughout the evening.

Bars and restaurants in the area will be giving out candy to trick-or-treaters and offering drink specials for adults.

It’s a classic New York City Halloween, full of neighborhood spirit, creative costumes, and fun for all ages.
