From the streets of New Orleans to the heart of Midtown, King Creole is about to have Bryant Park all shook up. On Monday, August 24, Paramount+ Movie Nights at Bryant Park will screen the classic Elvis Presley musical drama.
Starring Elvis Presley as a rebellious young man navigating life, love and trouble in New Orleans, King Creole is considered one of Elvis’s standout films and features performances of some of his most memorable songs, including “King Creole” and “Trouble.”
Movie Nights take place every Monday through September 14, with films beginning at 8:00 p.m. The lawn opens for picnicking at 5:00 p.m., Hester Street Fair vendors will be on-site from 4:00–8:30 p.m., and Stout NYC’s outdoor bar will be serving beer, wine, and seasonal cocktails beginning at 5:00 p.m.
