From August 24th-27th, Chatti by Regi Mathew invites New Yorkers to experience Onam, Kerala, India’s beloved harvest festival and the state’s most recognized annual holiday, through its most treasured tradition: the Onasadhya. This extraordinary vegetarian feast is a centuries-old ritual that brings families and communities together through a festival synonymous with gratitude and abundance.
Served exclusively in Chatti’s Muttch Lounge, the specially curated Onasadhya features 27 traditional vegetarian dishes served in sequence, faithfully recreating one of India’s most iconic celebratory feasts.
Unlike Chatti’s regular menu, this elaborate multi-course feast showcases the bounty of Kerala’s harvest season through an extensive selection of specialty dishes prepared exclusively for Onam. As one of the few restaurants in New York City celebrating Kerala’s harvest festival, Chatti offers guests a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in the country’s rich culture and experience cherished culinary traditions rarely found outside of India.
Available for lunch, except on August 26th for dinner only, Chatti’s Onam menu is priced at $95 for adults and $75 for children. Reservations are recommended and can be made via Resy.
