Bread’s Bakery

Known for their drool-worthy chocolate babka, this NYC bakery is quickly rising. Their hometown vibe has become a favorite for many coffee shop enthusiasts, prompting many to grab a bite to eat and stay for hours.

Laduree

Complete with stunning pastries and even prettier decor, eating at Laduree feels less like a treat and more like an experience. The adorable french cafe is known for it’s stellar macaroons, particularly their salted caramel ones.

Stick with Me

Stick with Me is a bonbon shop known for it’s character and charisma. Each bonbon is hand decorated with bright pops of color, and hand created by ridiculously talented pastry chefs. Complete with an awe-inspiring array of options, even the pickiest eaters are sure to find something they’ll love.

Dun-Well Doughnuts

This cute donut shop comes with a plus, every item on their menu is vegan, which honestly, we never would have guessed. Their daily-changing menu makes it difficult to recommend any one flavor, but we’ve yet to be disappointed by anything they’ve made.

Culture Espresso

This Time Square coffee shop is the perfect hangout to take a load off for an hour or two. It features everything you’d expect of a hip coffee bar, including drip coffee that is to die for, fun chalkboards and an incredibly friendly staff. Also, it’s hard not to love their gooey chocolate cookies, which, in our opinion, challenge those of top-name cookie stores.

Morgenstern’s

As one of the emerging ice cream brands in NYC, Morgenstern’s flavorful scoops and flavor database truly can’t be found elsewhere. Their variations on classic flavors like Vanilla have begun to catch on, but our personal favorite is the Green Tea Pistachio, aka their signature. The only caveat is, because the brand is quickly rising, you may want to leave around 15 minutes to wait in line.

Underwest Donuts

Underwest is the living definition of a hidden gem. Located inside a car wash, the admittedly odd decor throws some off initially. That is until they try the donuts. The impeccably glazed and decorated donuts look like something straight out of Food Magazine. Though we recommend basically everything on their menu, the Maple Waffle donut is the one that’s bound to become instafamous.
