Creating a welcoming environment where clients can sit and relax as they wait for their hairdos or spa massages is the key to winning more customers.  Remember, this is a very competitive industry where only stylish beauty salons have an edge. 

Why style the salon?

To beat the competition, you must focus on adapting and creating a beautiful environment using various stylish ideas to make the place more appealing to existing and new clients.  

This calls for redecorating the room and bringing in furniture that pampers customers. Make the environment adventurous and full of different eventful experiences that will keep your clients coming back for more.  

1. Get more pampering massage chairs

Allow your clients to enjoy the full experience of the stylish beauty salon.  Comfortable massaging chairs will do the trick. 

No client wants to sit for several minutes on a chair that makes their behind or back hurt. For instance, you can get chairs that give customers enough relaxing space, comfort, and coziness.  

Be innovative and explore new ideas and stylish designs when picking the chairs. Pick exquisite collections from quality vendors. In a competitive business environment. Quality is your most selling pitch.

For instance, complimentary drinks as they await service calms their nerves and keeps them happy. Vary your drinks to avoid monotony. Use different flavors and glasses.

The idea is to build loyalty and use your existing clients as your most potent marketing tool. 

Entertainment 

Add new features to the room like music systems well situated. This ensures clients get refreshing and entertaining music as you perform the massages or work on their hair.  

Add TVs and position the screens in an area they serve the greatest purpose.  Use stylish and comfy couches in the waiting area.

Smart salons have magazine subscriptions to keep their clients engaged as they attend to other clients. A bored client can leave immediately and go to your competitor, so concentrate on keeping them happy and busy reading something. 

Strive to keep them motivated and happy and magazines offer a solution. Besides, they learn new styles that they can ask you to try on them. Beauty magazines give amazing tips for skincare and relationship advice too.  

A preoccupied client can easily wait their turn without getting frustrated and leaving.

A stylish beauty salon is a business and apart from massages, pedicures, manicures, and hairdressing, you can offer your clients various quality beauty products. Teach them the merits of using the products even as you build your brand.  

Partner with quality brands and become a distributor to your clients to expand your business and bring in more revenue.
