We are excited to share that on Thursday, September 24, Chef Stefano Secchi of Massara will welcome San Diego chef Travis Swikard, chef and owner of Callie and Fleurette, to New York City for an exclusive one-night collaboration dinner at Massara in Flatiron.

The evening will bring together Swikard’s California-Mediterranean cooking and Secchi’s deeply rooted approach to regional Italian cuisine for a multi-course prix fixe menu highlighting seasonal ingredients and flavors from both coasts.

The menu will feature dishes including Bluefin Tuna & Mozzarella Caprese, Lemon Saffron Linguine with San Diego Sea Urchin & Bottarga Breadcrumbs, Grilled San Diego Swordfish à la Caponata, and Lavender & Honey with mikolich honey semifreddo, pistachio financier, lemon and lavender mousse. Guests will also have a choice of two to three dishes per course, alongside an assaggino. Tickets are $125 per guest.

The dinner marks Massara’s first special collaboration since its return to its original Flatiron home in July, and offers a rare opportunity to experience the cooking of two chefs whose approaches are rooted in Mediterranean flavors and regional traditions, interpreted through the ingredients and influences of their respective coasts.
