Callen-Lorde Community Health Center hosts its 26th annual Community Health Awards at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers, honoring the Keith Haring Foundation, Callen-Lorde’s partner for a decade, along with three LGBTQ+ supportive families: Annie Fan & Sung Ki Park, Stephanie & Scott Rostan, and Jennifer & Eddy Salcedo.
RuPaul’s Drag Race favorite Peppermint hosts the evening, with awards presented by Cynthia Nixon and Indya Moore and a special performance by Grammy winner Sydney James Harcourt of Hamilton. Lina Bradford DJs the cocktail hour, Aquaria takes over the after party, and comedian Dana Goldberg leads the auction.
The host committee includes Nan Goldin, Tommy Dorfman, Alexis Michelle, Matt Bernstein, Marti Cummings and Peter Staley, among others. Tickets are on sale now.
