This Bratislava 3 Day Itinerary List Will Make a Trip of a Lifetime

Heard about Bratislava and now you’re just itching to make a stop there on your next Eurotrip? Bratislava is around about 367,6 km², which means three days is the perfect amount of time to see everything you want to see. It will give you a generous taste of everything from medieval history to the very popular local craft beer industry (there’s even a guided craft beer tour!) and you will be able to taste local cuisine and explore the beautiful architecture and scenery. Here’s a fun albeit condensed itinerary.

Additional Info

Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia, which is one of the lesser-visited countries in Europe. You can either take the train, rent a car, or fly into the airport and then catch a Bratislava Airport Taxi to take you to where you want to go. It’s one of the youngest European countries but has been around for quite a while, with its history dating back to the mid-900s. This coupled with its Soviet and post-communist history makes Bratislava such an interesting place to visit.

The Itinerary

The First Day - Old Town and Craft Beer

Old Town is considered the historic heart of Bratislava. It’s easy to spend your entire day just walking through the streets and discovering lovely little corner cafes. You would, however, reap more benefits from doing a guided tour. The Old Town area is packed full of stories and legends, and it’s always so much more fulfilling to get that additional knowledge. You can’t drive a car around the area, so you can choose between a guided walking tour, or taking a trolley tour. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. A walking tour can take you places a trolley can’t go and will be able to show you those cute hidden spots, but your feet might get tired. You might miss a few things while on the trolley, but you won’t get tired and it has open sides, so you can still take lovely photos.

A tour will usually include a trip to the Old Town Hall, St. Martin’s Cathedral, and the Bratislava Castle. The castle has stunning hillside views that can’t be missed.

Once you’ve completed this tour it’s time for the craft beer tour. This is of course only an option for those over the age of 18, but it is a memorable experience. You will taste 10 different craft beers at 2 hidden pubs, which are impossible to find unless you know where they are. You will learn about local brewing methods as well as get some snacks to keep you going.

The Second Day – Wine Tour

If you opt for the craft beer tour the night before, remember to take it easy. The second day is all about wine and exploring the picturesque wine region. It has beautiful vineyards, and adorable little villages filled with an excellent selection of wines. The specialty of the region is white muscatel varieties. A wine tour will take you straight to the best wineries and the best tasting rooms, and since you’re not driving, you have the freedom to indulge as much as you want in the beautiful wine selections available.

A wine tour generally has more than one stop, so pace yourself. Your restraint will be rewarded with the taste of a broad selection of wines from the region. Be sure to book a tour that ends at Cerveny Kamen Castle, also known as Red Stone Castle. If you book a trip that ends here your entrance is usually included in the price of the tour. This lets you skip those pesky ticket queues and go right inside.

The Third Day – Architecture and Cuisine

Today we also have two activities. As we mentioned earlier Slovakia is new to Europe and was a part of Soviet and Communist Russia. This has led to some pretty interesting infrastructure and architecture. This tour is very different from the Old Town tour. This tour of the city tends to focus more on communist housing projects and abandoned bunkers, with some tours even transporting you in old Soviet-era vehicles.

After that, you can take a little rest, and then head straight out into Bratislava for some delicious food and interesting flavors. After the beer and wine tasting, you should have a good idea of what to look for when it comes to a good drink, but you probably haven’t experienced the delicious flavor combinations. Time for a curated cuisine tour of Bratislava. We suggest doing this on the last day to cure any hangovers you might have to prepare for the next leg of your trip.

We hope that this itinerary has left you feeling inspired and ready for the trip of a lifetime to Bratislava.

How to choose the best online casino slot machines in Hungary

Which casino game do you like playing in your free time? Many people in Hungary will admit that they spend most of their past time playing slots online, and casinos in Hungary continually make profits from this amazing game.

Slots have been generating revenue for many casino sites globally. Those who have been playing it will admit that it is the best gaming genre.

There are no sophisticated strategies needed to win, and the outcome primarily relies on luck when playing it. As such, you will only need to have a good gaming device and connectivity.

You must be aware that you might not end up with the ideal slots for you, and that is why you need to be knowledgeable on how to go about slot selection. We linked up with one of our experts Szilvia Sultés (view profile), who shared the following tips. Here is a list of the things you need to consider before playing slots:

Choose a reputable casino site

Don’t play slot games on any casino site you come across online. Research on the various sites and choose the one with the best reviews. What other people say about the casino site will come in handy in your selection process before you pay in casino.

Check if there are any complaints about it, especially those related to transactions. Go through review platforms in Hungary such as kaparós sorsjegy to get an expert opinion on slot gaming and online casino sites.

Find out if the casino site has a license. It’s only a licensed casino that will offer you secure payment in casino options, and you will be certain that your funds in the gaming account will be secure.

There are also online fraudsters who are after internet users’ data. Playing on a licensed casino will help you secure your data.

Choose games from reputable developers

Many slot games are available in most of the online casinos in Hungary. Not all of them are from the top casino developers. Some have been created by casinos that do not put into consideration the needs of the players.

Choosing games from top developers such as NetEnt, Microgaming, Play'n Go, and iGaming will give you an amazing gaming experience. But that should not limit you from playing slot games from new or small developers, as even the giant developers were once new.

Check on the return to player

It might sound technical to new slot players. But don’t forget about the RTP when searching for the best slots to play during your past time. RTP refers to the final percentage of all slot machine wagered money that will be paid back to the players.

If you are an experienced Hungary gamer, you will admit that RTP is useful in playing any slot game. Some games will offer you high RTP, while others will provide you with an average RTP. Consider slot machines with RTP that is above 95% to maximize your outcomes.

Bonus features

Every gamer is always looking for ways of winning big at the slots without using all their stakes after making their pay by card in a casino. It’s important to always check the slot bonus features before you start playing any.

There are also complicated bonus features, and that will not allow you to enjoy playing the games. Some features have favorable terms and conditions, and they are what you should look for if you aim to have an amazing gaming experience. Some of the bonuses you will find include free spins.

Be careful, as there are also casinos that will only offer you bonuses when you sign up and fail to provide you with others once you start gaming.

Check on the progressive jackpots

Not all slots offer their players an opportunity to wager on jackpots, but some will allow you to stake on the progressive jackpots. Progressive jackpots increase in value every time a player wagers but he or she does not win. The secret about progressive jackpots is that you might not easily win at them.

However, if you are lucky to win, the rewards will be huge and they allow you to win life-changing money.

Use the above tips to choose the best casino slot that will allow you to play in the Hungarian casinos.

These Hidden Health Issues Could Be Hurting Your Wellbeing

Your wellbeing can be impacted by a variety of different factors and some of these could be hidden from you. Here are some of the issues that you need to be aware of and the steps that you can take to solve them.

Bad Diet

First, you should think about diet. A bad diet can play havoc with your health and wellbeing, impacting you in multiple ways. For instance, if you have a bad diet, you might find that it does change your mood significantly. Various studies have shown that a poor diet can impact whether you are happy, sad, or simply more irritable. A bad diet can also cause you to have low levels of energy which will make it far more difficult to get through the day.

That’s why you should try and cut out the processed foods and aim to eat more natural products. You could even consider going vegan. Contrary to some reports, going vegan can make the body stronger if you approach this diet the right way.

Issues With Eyes

Eye health is something that is often - somewhat ironically - completely overlooked. It’s something that people don’t really pay much attention to and this can lead to problems. You could develop eye strain which will cause headaches and may lead to you feeling faint or weak through the day. You could even suffer from blurred vision which will be dangerous in certain situations. That’s why you need to make sure that you are visiting the best rated optometrist to get the support that you will need here.

Too Much Stress

We’re often led to believe that stress is a fact of life that you just have to roll with. This starts from an early age. In school, we’re put under enormous pressure to perform well in different exams and ensure that we get good grades. We’re told that this is essential for guaranteeing that we are successful in the future. But stress can play havoc with both your physical and mental health. It can leave you feeling drained and cause your body to bloat. It’s also another common cause of headaches and migraines. You try to relax more and take time for yourself each day and each week.

Downtime

Finally, you need to make sure that you are trying to be as active as possible. Studies have shown evidence that being inactive for hours on end throughout the day can be more damaging to your health than smoking a carton of cigarettes each week. Of course, if you work in an office and you’re stuck behind the desk, then this is always going to be a problem. The best way to solve this is by ensuring that you’re making the most of your evenings and your weekends. You can go out for a run or you might want to consider heading out into the wilderness. It’s entirely up to you.

We hope this helps you understand some of the hidden health issues that could be having a tremendous impact on your wellbeing and what steps you can take here.
