The James Beard Foundation kicks off its FIFA World Cup-inspired dinner series with a cross-cultural feast celebrating Brazil and Morocco. Two acclaimed chefs will share the table: Chef Victor Vasconcellos of Berimbau Brazilian Table — a São Paulo native and Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient — and Chef Aneesa Waheed, founder of Tara Kitchen.
The evening begins with passed canapés from each chef, followed by a seated, family-style dinner around a long communal table. Each chef presents a three-course menu side by side, drawing from their respective culinary traditions, and finishing with desserts inspired by their cultures.
