Event Description: The 4th Annual Orange Glou Wine Fair, America’s first and only orange wine fair, returns this fall on October 26th and it’s bigger than ever with two floors showcasing over 150 orange wines to taste from around the world, including Austria, France, Slovenia, Germany, the country of Georgia, the U.S., and for the first time Hungary. Attendees have rare the opportunity to meet top natural winemakers pouring their own wines, who have been hand selected by Fair and Orange Glou wine subscription founder, leading orange wine expert Doreen Winkler. Plus, all guests get to take home a signature Orange Glou wine glass!

Made using a centuries-old technique with white grapes but like reds with the grape skins left in contact with the juice after pressing, orange wines can range from fresh and light to textured and dark amber in color — and the Orange Glou Fair will showcase the entire spectrum.

Participating wineries include Austria’s Maria & Sepp Muster, Werlitsch, Franz Strohmeier, Markus Altenburger, Claus Preisinger, Weingut Heinrich, and Wachstum König; Georgia’s Anapea Village, Pheasant's Tears, Okro’s Wines, Kapistoni, and Igavi Wines; Hungary’s Oliver Weingartner, Bökő Winery, Jász Laci, Vincze Tomi, Bussay Pince and more; America’s Ruth Lewandowski, Swick Wines, and Scotty Boy; France’s Domaine Muller-Koeberlé, Slovenia’s Cotar; and Germany’s Weingut Bianka & Daniel Schmitt; and more to be announced.

The Orange Glou Wine Fair will be held at Home Studios (873 Broadway near Union Square, NYC) on October 26 in two sessions. Tickets are $49 for the 11am-2:30pm tasting and $59 for 3pm-6:30 pm. All tickets include an Orange Glou wine glass to keep ($15 value). Dishes from Georgian restaurant Chito Gvrito will be available for purchase for an authentic Georgian food and wine pairing.
