Pulpería Latin Mediterranean Kitchen on Restaurant Row is hosting One Night Only: A Taste of Spain on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 7 PM—a convivial, three-course tasting in collaboration with Despaña, NYC’s premier purveyor of Spanish delicacies. The evening channels Spain’s love of shareable plates, beginning with Mejillones en Escabeche on toasted rustic bread, followed by a tapas trio: Pulpo a la Gallega (boiled potatoes, pimentón de la vera, Maldon sea salt, EVOO), Croquetas de Jamón Serrano with béchamel and piquillo aioli, and Empanadillas de Atún with tomato sofrito, green olives, pimentón de la vera, and albacore tuna.
For the main event, guests choose one of Pulpería’s signature paellas with Bomba rice—Seafood (monkfish, mussels, Spanish chorizo, little neck clams, squid; optional squid ink), Chicken & Chorizo (green peas, roasted red peppers, guindilla pepper sofrito), or Grilled Picaña (oyster mushrooms, pearl onions, piquillo peppers; truffle aioli)—then finish with Cheesecake Brûlée or Dulce de Leche Churros.
