chef Gabriel Kreuther of two-Michelin-starred restaurant Gabriel Kreuther will welcome chef Cedric Vongerichten, co-owner of the beloved NoLita French-Indonesian sister restaurants Wayan and Ma•dé, for an exclusive collaboration dinner: Spices & Terroir.
The one-night only multi-course dinner will showcase each chef’s individual culinary approach while emphasizing the unique terroir of Alsace, Indonesia, and France. The carefully curated experience offers a choice of a four-course menu at $220 or a tasting menu at $295. Highlights include Fluke Crudo and Sambal Hijau, with shaved sugar snap Peas and fresh horseradish; Cashew & Wild Mushrooms Parfait, with Imperial Ossetra caviar, Granny Smith apple, and teff gateau; and Spiced Elysian Fields Lamb Saddle, with fava beans, piquillo peppers, and basil pesto jus.
This event marks the second Chef x Chef dinner at Gabriel Kreuther, a new series where Chef Gabriel explores the influence of French culinary heritage on the global palate, inviting new chefs to collaborate in his kitchen during a limited residency.
