On Sunday, May 31st, acclaimed Chef and owner of the three Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park, Daniel Humm, will host a special children’s book signing at Books of Wonder (42 W 17th St.) celebrating his debut picture book, Daniel’s Dream — a heartfelt story inspired by his own childhood and the lifelong power that comes from even the smallest moments of a parent’s encouragement; a message that ultimately helped shape his path to leading the No. 1 restaurant in the world.
This will be more than a traditional reading and signing: Chef Humm will meet with local kids and families, sign books, and hand out custom Eleven Madison Park cookies created by Eleven Madison Park’s Executive Pastry Chef Laura Cronin (the mind behind the viral NYC-staple Madison Squares) especially for the occasion. The afternoon will be a celebration of creativity, imagination, and encouraging children to dream without limits.
At a moment when many parents are rethinking screen time and searching for more meaningful offline experiences for their children, Daniel’s Dream offers a refreshing community-focused message: creativity starts when kids are given the freedom - and encouragement - to explore it.
