In celebration of National Coffee Day (September 29) and International Coffee Day (October 1), illy is bringing “A Cup of Love” to Hudson Yards, a three-day pop-up that reimagines the traditional Italian cortile as a contemporary piazza. The idea is simple: put your phone away and reconnect with someone over a shared cup of coffee.

Complimentary reservations are available in 30-minute increments from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, September 29 through October 1, in Hudson Yards’ Public Square and Gardens. Each session includes a coffee pairing from a rotating lineup of local pastry partners and a seat in one of two lounge areas designed for conversation, whether it’s a first date, a long-overdue catch-up or a thank-you coffee.

The space is anchored by a newsstand-inspired coffee kiosk and cabana with a tiled wall of red love letters. Visitors can write their own “A Cup of Love” postcard to add to the wall or take home, and share their session on social by tagging @illy_us and #ACupofLove.
